These assclowns are relentless bottom feeding scum. They call everyday from a different number wanting to speak to a Jaynel. I tell them to STOP calling my damn phone with this crap. Take my number off of your call list, there IS NO JAYNEL HERE!!!! The next day they call again from a different number.

I say it all the time.  I see the out of state number on my cell phone as they never leave a message.  Google the number, find out that its the same idiots, and I block them.  NEVER speak to them at all.  I would think sooner or later that they would figure out that some of us know there game.  Maybe not....lol

These douches called me, but didn't even let it get to my voicemail. I started entering the number in Chrome to search what the number was for and the number popped up at the top of some suggested searches. These same people keep sending me things offering me "deals" for paying off my debts, yet those things also say because of the age of the debt that they won't sue me for it or report it to credit agencies, lol. The debt they're trying to collect on USED to be valid when I was young and irresponsible when it came to credit, but that debt is so old (probably close to 10 years ago by now) it doesn't even show up in my credit report. They just buy these junk debts to try and get people to give them money for nothing! If they call again I am tempted to answer and tell them to lick my balls

I just received a call looking for Jaquel Brown.  This is a cellular dispatch number and I'm just like RJK, Portfolio needs to be sued.  I have over 28 numbers saved in my cellular where they have called and called for the wrong person. I watched Dateline about these people calling cellulars and how you can sue them.  Maybe we all should stand our ground on the JA's and just sue the living poop out of them. It's time they learned a lesson.  If we don't, they will continue to bother all concerned. Personally I'm extremely tired of their nonsense, and who the devil is giving them all the phone numbers so they can try to disguise themselves? Has to be a major supplier like Verizon, AT&T, etc.  Someone's butts need to be put in a sling. Try first starting with the CEO of Portfolio Debt Collectors, and then the CEO of the person supplying all their different phone numbers.  Our rights in this country have gone to the dogs as we have none!

Well what can I tell you? These guys (Portfolio Recovery) are genuine bottom feeders of debt collection industry. They buy old statute expired debt and through harassment tactics try to collect 10 to 30 cents on the dollar. Of course the minute anything is collected, the statute date resets to day 1 and their other outfits and ambulance chasers come after you. If you have noticed their letter of settlement is only for the debt with them, not original debtor or the next place they sell it to. The only way to fight these guys is to get with your state authorities. These guys know all the Federal loopholes.

They didn't leave a message, and I don't know anybody on the east coast. It seems like there are millions of bottom feeders on fishing trips.

My google voice number got a call from 7576637884, didn't answer, no voicemail left, and they haven't called back yet. But after doing a search, I found multiple sites referencing this number as a bunch of [***] debt portfolio recovery pricks. About a week ago another google voice number i have for work also got a call from 7572758991, another debt portfolio recovery [***] that called without leaving a voicemail.

I wonder how they're getting their numbers? I find it odd that two google voice numbers i got just happen to get these calls when I've never gotten them before.

I'm so sick of these guys. I've blocked about a dozen of their numbers. I am paying on a couple other things, so when they call from a new number, I don't want to risk it being the people I NEED to answer to. Today I answered. It was a woman who has information from an old account and an old address. She said I made several payments, then my bank account started declining and was closed. I said I never made payments straight from my bank account. I also told her that I was driving with a client in the car and that paper mail works best for me. I asked to receive the information and bills in the mail so I can call on my own time or send a payment in. She kept dodging the subject, and insisting that I "pull out my checkbook to secure the new deal she was offering me". I finally said, "listen, I'm driving, I can't talk right now. I need something in the mail." She said she'd "wait on the line until I could talk". What a joke!! I said, "no. I'm at work. I can't talk." She muttered something abrupt and rude, and hung up. I HATE these people. I wish there was a way to block them for good!

I never answer these types of calls - I don't know anyone in Virginia...sounds like a scam phone call.

These people are the worst of the worst, I guess if you are such a loser you work for them. They buy expired bank written off debts at pennies on the dollar. NEVER! reply to them, if you do you transfer an expired debt to them by admitting you owe this debt. When they call ignore them and when they send their bogus payment options use the paperwork for  bird cage liner. They have no legal teeth unless you fall into their scheme.
