This number has been calling me 6+ times a day for days!!  No message is left; they just leave hang ups on my answering maching.  I do not make it a habit to answer calls on my caller ID when I do not know the caller, but I finally answered and NO ONE WAS THERE!  This is a nuisance.  I am the national Do Not Call list.  What the hell is going on?!!!  I see other comments that this is a collection agency.  Like another entry, I have exceptional credit.  Why are these people calling me???

no answer on other line. answering machine picks up and then hangs up. this is a work number they are calling. not a home phone.

yeah they just called me I have seen the number calling and calling so i finally picked up it was a machine and said they were a debt collector and that I had been put into collections so i pressed a button verifying it was me then some girl picked up she almost sounded shocked she just said uhh hello.... I said yeah then she said hi can i have the last 4 digits of your social security number and I said hell no I'm not giving you that and she said have a nice night and hung up...... If it was a real creditor I would think that they would put up some kind of fight like listen you owe money.... But I pay my bills every month so i was skeptical to begin with

Same thing. They never leave a message. I'm also on the 'Do not call' list. I just answer the phone and place it up against the TV speaker until they hang up. They still don't get the message because they still keep calling.

This number calls my home at least 5 times a day, never leaves a message and when I do answer...NO ONE is there. VERY innoying!!!

They keep calling me asking for someone I have never heard of... Some debt collector.  When I try to talk to a person, they just hang up on me.

I've been seeing this number, along with at least two others, several times a day for about three weeks. It shows up as cellular call. I can't call the number back because I don't have caller ID. Has anyone tried that?

gettin calls no message no answer, my son got a call like this and they asked for him by name, said they were a collection agency and he owed an amount.  he asked who he owed it to and they said they didn't know that they had bought the debt,  he hung up

i do have a debt from washington mutual that went to a collection agency and they call at least 6-8 times a day i do have a payment set up and when they called and asked me to verify the four last digits of my social i gave it to them and now i feel dumb, now im wondering if i shouldnt send them money.

This is a company Called 'West Asset Management' Seems like a shady bunch of debt collectors. They have a contact #1-866-793-6030.

These people are TOTAL jerks! They ARE a collection agency. Best thing to do is block the area code with a 866 number and NEVER, NEVER, NEVER answer any calls coming from these people. The FCC are NOT going to do anything about, so just DON'T answer the phone! DO NOT Call them back! That is a total waste of time. Plain and simple - screw them! They also use 866-793-6030.

I complained to Verizon about these jerks and now instead of 757-990-8944, the caller ID shows 657-990-8944. Time to call Verizon again and let them know this twist.

I'm about ready to either buy a policie whistle or an air horn and let those answer the phone if these numbers show up.

They call but they dont speak ! It is west asset management. Its a collecting agency.The best is to file a complaint against them if they want to continue.

This stupid number 757-990-8944 keeps calling my house, over and over and over again, and it's a BRAND NEW line! WTF? So I got pissed, and called them direct, found out where they are located, and much more....I'm a PI on the side...and chewed them out, and to NEVER call my house again. They never say anything, never leave a message, how the F did they get a business license????????????

Their real business name is "NATIONSLINE VIRGINIA, INC" and they are located in Temperanceville, VA and use A LOT of false business names, and numbers.
