SCAM!!
They try to say they are a credit card company and want you to phone them about your credit card!
When I called the number back it rang once and went to a busy signal. DON'T GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR INFO!!!!!

Same situation.  Called my cell phone.  No message left.  Number rings busy when I try to call back.  Just another scammer!!

I just received a call from this number on my cell phone.  I didn't recognize it so I didn't answer it.  No message was left.  I went online, plugged in the number into Google search, and found this page.  Thanks for letting me know the deal.  I will now block this number from my cell phone.

Just received a call from this number too. Didn't answer because I have been receiving calls from other numbers similar to this and it is a scam! How do they even get a cell phone number and how can I block them?

If you get a call offering you a lower interest rate, hang up. They will know your credit card information and your bank but they need your checking account number.

Got a call from this number, didn't answer as I did not recognize the number. Glad everyone is doing a good job of keeping vigilant against scammers.

I just got this phone call. The person had a heavy foreign accent, and when I asked him who he wanted to reach, he would not tell me and instead kept asking me for my name and personal information, telling me he was going to lower the interest rates on my credit cards. I gave him a false name to see what he would do. He then started asking for personal information. When I confronted him telling him I gave him the wrong name on purpose and what was he doing, . he hung up. This is a SCAM. Do NOT give out any personal information to anyone calling from this number. I wouldn't be surprised that it is a scam to steal personal identity.

I knew this was a bogus call because I have no credit card debt at all, so there would be no reason for any legit company to contact me to reduce my credit card debt or interest rate. There are people who do have credit card debt and I don't want you to fall prey to this scam. I will be contacting my local police dept. with the information.

I received the same call at 12:52 PM, 9/31/13.  SCAM!!!

Female voice left a message saying they want to lower my credit card interest.  Said push 1 to dpeak to  live customer service.  Of course I didn't call back. Thanks for posting everyone.

Got a call from this number at 10:24 am 08/31/13.  I am at the gym in the mornings, so natch, didn't answer!

Same thing just happened to me.  They called my cell phone and when I answered the call went dead.  I called back and just got busy signal.  So gald you have this post so we can report it.

Got the call about 9:40 AM did not answer, they did not leave an answer

Got the call from this number but didn't pick up.  Seems that there is adult of activity for this number today
