Answered call tonite from guy claiming to be a technician with 'microsoft windows service center'. He had a heavy East Indian accent & said my computer has been submitting error & technical corruption reports to head office. He wanted me to access my computer -- i told him i was busy, so he asked me to call back tomorrow @ 760-283-1718 and ask for 'eric carter' to repair computer problems... I don't think so!!

Well, "Alex Willam" from "Windows I.T." called me. I've learned a few things tonight.

    1. When you're computer has virus's it is very sick.
    2. I have a Window in my computer
    3. My Window CAN send information when not connected to this thing they call the internet.
    4. Its a sin to not have the internet.
    5. "Alex Willam" is East Indian
    6. His number is, 1-760-283-1718
    7. His number doesn't work
    8. Its much more fun to play with these guys than it is to get mad and hang up.

I just recieved a call from "Michael Jordon", claiming to be a technician from Microsoft. With his heavy accent, he made attempt to access my computer, through WWW.ammyy.com. When he told me to enter this into my windows screen, I googled the infomation instead. The website is legit, but they have a warning about these types of calls coming out of India. Although I had a lot of fun talking to this idiot, people need to know that it is a SCAM!!!!. do not do as they ask!!!

    not that stupid
These jokers called last night. They tried to convince me to let them on my computer. What they don't understand is that I don't run windows. These people are nothing but thieves. I wish they would just get a life and leave people alone. It takes a special kind of person to try to steal from people. Their parents must be so proud of them.

Read me read me read me read me read me read me read me!
This is how your convos go with these people.

My disabled mother kept getting calls not knowing what this was about in general, not an internet user. She's a smart lady, didn't give out any info, talked to me about passed me the phone.
No surprise they're doing this around the holidays. Never thought this would actually happen to me!

They start by you trying to give them info of your PC. Example: I have an Apple. They called regarding Windows. They claim they can tell by your internet router (call your local PC shop) (I'm going to do further research on that too). Liars!

We hung up very nicely on the man who claimed to be a manager (Kevin) twice, even went as far as him giving me his employment number (MS1097). He kept harassing my disabled mother and I by calling back several times. You hear a lot of people talking in the background; they're very busy calling several people so be careful. Check your local news! Google it! To see if it's really true!

I finally got with talking to Kevin. I ask him simple questions as which computer was it that was being tampered with? He didn't want to answer them (claiming to be a tech by Windows Microsoft). Ignored all my questions (gave me no specific answer) to get back into trying to turn on my computer. He said by his signal he knew I have a Windows Vista, Windows 8.1, or Windows 7!? I told him yes, I've got a Windows 10? He replied yes, I have no Windows 10! I am personally an Apple person, Apple! <---------

He gave me instructions to turn on my computer. I said okay. It's on, checked my screen. He told me to press Ctrl your Windows key on your keyboard and the letter "R." They constantly claim things about your personal info has been tampered with. If that's the case call Windows, no advice from them.

While he was pretending to be considered to make a honestest living, I quickly grabbed my phone and looked under Google News, searched "Windows," nothing of a scam. Even checked Windows website! I told "Kevin," the supposed manager, I would call him if I had any questions. I quickly wanted to end the phone call after coming across
