It is urgent, however, that you contact us concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rates to as little as 6.9% your eligibility expires shortly, so please consider this your final notice. Please Press 1 now on your phone to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rates, or press 2, to discontinue further notices. Thank you and have a great day."

Just got the same call

My father received the call and spoke with an Elema Jones.  She wanted to lower his interest rate on his credit card.

Same message.  I hung up when he asked for my cc number.  If he wanted to lower my interest rate, why would he need my number.  So dumb, he didn't even know then name of my credit card, he just named the big ones to see if Id bite.    

Got a call from the same number (yes, I'm on the Do Not Call list) but didn't say anything, they just hung up as soon as I answered.

I just got the same call.  I pressed one and when the lady answered, I told her that I knew she was full of crap and that this was not a legitimate banking call.  She promptly hung up on me.  I keep getting a busy signal when I try to call back.  Maybe I'll try it at 3 am to see...

Got it on my cell. These are all scam calls. There was a crack down a couple years ago, which is why they dropped off the map for a while. Looks like he thieves are in the thick of it again.

Same type of call.  I'm on the Do Not Call list.  It's a scam.

They called me saying the same things... I told them I was interested in lowering my interest rate but I would not give them my card number, because I couldn't verify who they were. They put me on hold and dropped the call

How do they get our numbers?

No message, they hung up immediately.

I got the same call.  I choose #2 and hung up.  I am also on a Do Not Call List.

Just got the same call...I didn´t pick up, and they didn´t leave a message. I´m glad I found this board and I see it wasn´t anything important. Thanks guys.

Just got the same call too. When I asked him which card, he blurted out a bunch of others, so I hung up.
