Some type of bill collection agency and from what i've read they have different names and are very fraudulnt

They called me trying to get to my mom. They used the name CPS but my mom has never heard of them. Very fishy..
This is the exact message, word for word:
"This message is for William. William this is Melissa with CPS. Trying to get in touch with you in reference to a Susan [last name], it is very urgent. My phone number is 1-800-460-0082. I'm at extension 112. Reference [number]. Again it is very urgent that I do speak to you."

They called me at work today and said I owed some kind of promissory note for $700 and needed to send through Western Union.  I have absolutely no idea what they are talking about.

They called me today, they said my mom owed them money from a past due account with thbe dentist. They had a case number and my siblings' names they said they were form cps? Obiously I called the number and they said I needed to send them the amount of 2k through western union to avoid procecution against my mom. I obiously panic and I'm searching for any type of help any one can give me about handling this situation.

This collection agency said this is CPS that they had an investation against Chris Bigford and to call this number right away due to a acussation against . call us because it is in your best interest

this number called my aunt saying i used her as a reference for a job, such liars we have never even heard of this place. i really hope these people get caught because they are nothing but frauds.

these people have called me before and they said that i owe them 3000.00 and they need it by the end of the week and they also said that. if they did't get it i would go to jail. i said i would be glad to pay it but that i did not have 3000.00 could i make payment of 100. he said no way.  i ask the name of the company they did tell me that. later i called the company they said they did not know these people and they were very sorry. i also made a police report.they have called my job my friends. i don't know what to do.

They called me saying, "We called you last week and you REALLY need to call us back." I had "CPS" call me last week. This time....no indication of who they were or what they were calling about....just a case number.

I also had a call from Mr. Cole and/or T. Tucker (which is probably fake)at my job back to back threatning to garnish wages.  They have also stated there company name to IRS. There number comes 'blocked caller' too. I did talk to them & he was very disrespectful and when I asked nicely for a copy of my orginal contract w/the pmt I made he got irrate and states 'oh you know the system and hung up"  he has since then keep leaving msgs just saying my name and call me.  He called my job one time again.  We'll see...I have put a complaint with the FCC.

he told me he was looking for someone an they owed alot of money, and if that person didnt pay they were going to jail. lol if anyone knows about bad credit its me hahaha so maybe they might wanna call some dumb person who will fall for that!!!!!

Yea these people just called in reference to a sibling. I asked about there company and could not get any straight answers. Not only that the 1st lady I talked to Madison said that I have no life that because I looked the number up. Then the guy I talked to wouldn't give up who they were and was very vague about the company. So I figure since they want to call people and scam all day. I will just call and bother them all day.

I just called and because I wouldn't give the last 4 digits of my SS they woudn't give me any information and told me I would be in trouble if I didn't let the caseworker help me. Please do not give any part of your SS number to these people. If they were ligit they would be able to tell you the name of the company they are representing. Instead they are very vague. They threaten people with jail if they don't pay but the court system in our country does not put people in jail for failure to pay a debt. If they did half of our country would be in jail because of the economy.

CPS called asking for me... of course, "I wasn't me" I never am until I find out who the heck is calling me long distance...
The name is "Check Protection Services" and that, Jeff had some checks stolen. She now has an open account and investigation into the stolen checks... Here's the funny part... Jeff (me) doesn't have a checking account!!!! Nice try CPS

Mr. Harden called & said he needed to speak with someone I know regarding some checks that were written... he does'nt have a checking account!  He said to call 800-460-0082 x133 and that it was urgent.

These pple keep calling regarding a friend that took out a pay day loan & she already paid it back!!! They are misrepresenting themselves when they call. It comes up as CPS & the messages they have left make it sound like they are calling regarding a child protective services issue.

I just received a call from Emily Johnson from CPS and needed to speak with me regarding Brandi Fickels' investigation. She stated it was urgent that I return her call and reference Brandis' case # 09-5356308 when I called.  Unfortunately for Emily I work for CPS and wondered why someone from out of my area would be calling me on a holiday on my cell phone. These calls MUST be reported to your local sheriffs department for further investigation.

After they called me. I looked them up. I called them back on my nephew's phone. So i told them that they were a fraud. They call my nephew back. His mom anwsered it. She told them to stop calling my son's phone. They end up calling him back 11 times. She anwsered one more time and told them to stop calling him and to loose his number. He started to shout "Never Never Never". She threated to call the police and he said good call them. called about 4 or 5 times after that. If you call them. Make sure sure it's restricted.
The guy's was Brad Adams. Make sure you call the police and report this fraud.
