Recieved a call stating some legal charges gave me case number and someother info who can stop or how do i stop these phone scams?

This same number had called me twice and has left the same message each time.  When I try to call back I get hung up on, a voice recording stating no one is available or a beep and then disconnected.  Found some other people that states the same thing and the same message being left for them on their voicemail.  I'm blocking the number from reaching me.  If it's legit I will get something in the mail or they would leave the name of the company they are calling for!!!

Same unbelievable remarks as above.  What a scam these people are pulling.....they have man by the name of Adam Richmond at the 540 number and then this number with some woman who you just cant understand wanting you to call or something horrible will happen to you and the legal ramifications if you don't call them and give them your info.  I am in a horrible situation right now with my bank because some company by the name of Premier Memberships debited my checking acct.  My bank should have called me right away!!!  I was overdrafted 30.00 and this company was trying to get 99.49 from me first as a deposit and then a withdrawal.  You know the winter was very quiet and all of a sudden june comes along and all these calls and tlemarketers are calling and threatening calls - what the hell is going on today??????? In these times you have to watch your every damn step.

Last week the very same thing happened to me. I got online and checked my bank account and saw that $30.00 was missing and that my account was overdrawn. I did not approve of any withdrawls from account to these people. I had to contact my banks fraud department and file a claim with them and also close my checking account so that no more money would be stolen. I tried to contact the company that ripped me off but had a hard time getting through and when I did I cound not understand the lady with the bad broken english. I contacted the FTC, BBB and my states AOG office and my states department of financial instituion. I have changed my numbers and told my co-workers, supervisor and HR Director to be on the lookout for these people calling me. I asked that they tell the callers that I am not employed there anymore. I am not scammed easily and I know all about the laws regarding debt so I love to play games with them when they do call. I don't mind the calls at home but when they call my job it pisses me off because I can't rant and rave like I can if I was at home LOL.

I also received a call from this number they kept asking me if I knew about "this case". Then I was asked to call back and ask for Kenneth Webster. I was never given the name of the company or the date of the offense. I was also accused to theft and fraud in California.

Dude, I got the same call three times today and here I am like who the f%#* is this? dude starts talking about a case, I said what case? he said the lawsuit filed against you...I started cracking up lmao...like this dude is trying to scam me!! so he puts me on hold for a long ass time so I hung up  and I look the number up and it led me here to read all the same ish that these fools is trying to pull one on me too!! like the other post said if they wanted to contact me send it mail!! B WARE OF SCAMS!!! and protect your accounts...these a holes will do anything to get in there and empty you out!!!

Just an update, I just got off the phone with the TRUE Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, they are the government of the United States. This is a SCAM DO NOT give any information to them, and DO NOT send money. She gave me an email address to send their phone numbers to: scamsandfraud@fincen.gov. I encourage you to send emails to them everytime you receive a call and give the phone number from which they called. Also contact the people they "claim" to have reports from, for me it was Cash Advance, I contacted them and told them what was going on.

She stated they never call on the phone or even email, you would receive a certified notorized letter from them if there was a case pending.

This number called me saying i had a law suit against me.. then when u call them back they wont answer. So guess what i aint got no money i dont own nothing so suie me and ser what ya get (Nothing cause i dont have nothing) HA HA HA HA HA

i am so glad i found this website i to have received these calls to my home and cell and leaving me messages saying it t\was time sensitive and either myself or my lawyer call his name was Kenneth Webster and he spoke real bad broken English and i couldn't understand him and he took it as i was being smart and told me i would be in trouble from what i tried to understand and me being a mother of 2 children was concerned  lost a lot of sleep and nerves were a wreck cause i had no clue what he was talking about and when ever i called back from a different number no answer and would just ring and then beep  thanks for all the information i thinking i'm going to contact my lawyer and see what i can do about these people

this company called saying they knew my name and that because i was trying to find out why they were calling Kenneth said i should not get smart with him but really i could not understand him because he spoke broken English and  then hung up in my face after trying to tell me that i would have to deal with the sheriffs on my charges all this to find out it was a scam and i myself have ptsd i am going to contact  a lawyer and see what i can do about this.

This number called me today at work telling me that there was an emergency and there were casings against me and I better hope I have a lawyer... not to mention the guy didn't speak a lick of english. I could not understand him at all. He kept asking me my social security number and I would not confirm it. He said that I needed to call a number and gave me a case number (which took me like 10 times to understand what he was saying) ... The funny thing is- the number he gave me to call was the number that he was calling me from on the caller id. The name on the caller id was "Imperial". I hung up on him. He then called me back and told me that if I did not verify my info and call that number that I would be in a lot more trouble. After reading everyones comments... I am reassured (like i totally already knew)... that this call was a TOTAL SCAM!!!!

It is really sad That people have nothing better to do than to call lie and harass people to make money they need to get a real job and make a honest living.

I got a call from that number this morning as well.  They started to ring my line (both numbers) like over 6 times.  I was sleeping.  Then when I finally answered, I get a girl who says she is a paralegal and I have the court case against me, and I have to rectify it asap, or they will pursue to according to law.

I asked her (obviously from India), what is this case against me?  She decline to tell me, but informed that she is a paralegal.  I told her, that paralegals are permitted to describe the case.  She said I had to call this number for the case.  I looked at my screen when I wrote it down, and they were the same number.

So I asked her..."So, You are calling from the same number, and yet you want me to call you back on it?  You are supposedly a paralegal but can't provide me with case number, what's it about and nothing more?"  I asked her, what boat she just got off on in America.

I wanted to check this number out, just from curiosity online.  BUT THEY ARE SOME TYPE OF SCAM!  I'm surprised that this number still exists and that with the complaints I see online, Federal Authorities haven't nailed them yet.  Doesn't our government provide them with the best in equipment, and other services to go after bad guys?  Rather sad that I see so many here posting and other places too.

Just as added info, they are not from USA.  The number is, because it is registered to 360Networks.  Their phone number is 206-239-4360.  They are open MTN time zone.

Anyhoo, this number is VOIP.  This means, someone here in the USA has purchased this number and has provided a link overseas.

If I find more information, I will post it here.  However, I believe people should start contacting 360Networks, because THE ARE ASSOCIATED online of having this number.  Either this company starts to work on issues like this, or they are part of the entire operation.  Don't know.  But, if there is investigation, it should begin here.

they told me they were from the state dept trying to collect a $500.00 told me his name was peterson. when i called the number back it rang and then went to a beep whats going on?????

I cant believe this i had the same thing happen to me this morning a guy with a thick accent called me saying that they had cases against me with the state attorneys office and did i know about them and tried to get me to confirm my social security which i would not do. he got really mad and i hung up but he called me back and i said why are you calling from california and he stated that is where the warrants for me were and the companies he was representing but anyway i told him i would call state attorneys office my self. I got on computer did a reverse lookup and this website popped up. So everyone beware this is a scam

I am getting the same thing and I can not unerstand a word Mr. Johnson said.   called back several times and get hung up. Reported it to the FTC.

These keep calling my cell and work phone. Threatening me I have not received any money from a loan so how can they do this to me.
