They called at 6:49PM last night but left no message.  I didn't recognize the phone number.

Found other complaint websites that this 760-526-8108 number with a SIMS caller id is related to 402-982-0719 too. That is some kind of OTO INC./Apex Home Security telemarketing scheme, some calls leave a message if we can put a sign in your yard you can get a deal on our Home security but never leave any company name or number to call back. This has got to be some kind of a scheme going on here, Apex had a sales guy walking our neighborhood and in order for you to get a deal on their home security you had to purchase a cell phone deal for $99.00 first. Few days after another guy came by but wouldn't say any company name, so I asked our City Hall if this was legitimate (because any company has to register and get approval from our City Hall before they can go door-door) and they said there was no such company regitered with them which then was reported to the Sheriffs' station too. Which has now stopped numerous door-door telemarketing that was going on in our neighborhood, so it seems this is some kind of SCHEME claiming to be a Home Security going on here with these calls.

Have called @7:30pm two nights in a row. Hang up before machine picks up.

Called me last night and left no message. How did they get my cell phone number???  It's listed in donotcall.gov, [***].

SIMS(760-526-8108) Got a call from that number - said "hello" a single time then I just listened - after a few moments the person hung up. I have no idea who telephoned me.

Shows as SIMS on caller ID. Caller rang twice, I answered "hello" but they had already hung up. I also received a call the other day on my cell which traced to a company selling dish network

I just got a call from this number on my cell phone, which is registered with donotcall.gov. A little while ago, I got a call from 1-800-200-3500 on my cell phone. I didn't answer either one because I didn't recognize the numbers but they left no messages. It's very unusual for me to receive these kinds of calls on my cell phone and I don't know how these two callers got my number, but I'm not planning on calling back and encouraging them, either. Does anybody recognize the other number? Are these people calling from the same company, different numbers? Donotcall.gov certainly doesn't work very well because I receive regular telemarketing calls on my home phone even though I have been registered with donotcall.gov for years. I suspect that you have to go back every now and again and re-register your number, which I do from time to time to make sure they've got me on record, but that never stops the flood of telemarketing calls I get, so it's sort of useless, really. You just have to spend the extra money like I did and get caller ID and screen all of your calls. If it says "Anonymous Caller" or "Unavailable", do not answer. If it's important enough, they will leave a message. If not, it was junk and not worth your time. Oh, and by the way, why do these calls always get made during the dinner hour? Don't they realize that people are trying, after a long day of work, school or whatever, to just sit down and eat their evening meal in peace and quiet without constant interruption by a ringing telephone? Sheesh! The nerve!

SIMS 760-526-8108 called at 8:28 PM 11/10/09 but didn't leave a message.  We are on the DNC list.

Called my cellphone once with 760-526-8108 at 16:11 and once with 402-982-0719 at 13:31. Left no message. My cellphone number was on DNC list too.

Hi, both number are from california, I got a call 0n 11-12-2009 from 760-526-8108, no left message, got a text on 11-11-2009 from a 619-252-2340, offering a gift card, and to go to a page(www.giftsnow101.com)to collect my gift or to call 877-808-9348 to stop replies.  when calling 619-252-2340, got a voice mail, was a guy from the KKK asking for money, can u all believe this, the KKK asking me for money,  call the number and try, i left a nice message in the voice mail.

I got a call 0n 11-13-2009 from 402-982-0719 then an hour later, 760-526-8108, no left messages. who the heck are these people?

got a call from 402-982-0719.  I answered and listened....recorded message offering free wireless security for the home.

about 4 hours later, I got a call from 760-526-8108.  I did not pick up, and got no voice message.

received call from 760-526-8108 on mobile phone. did not answer and a voice mail was not generated.

received call from 402-982-0719 on 11/16/2009 @1:08pm. did not answer and a voice mail was not generated.

I actually didn't get a call.  I got a text message from 619.261.3650.  I opened the message and it said "Bonus Deal:  To Claim your $100 Gift Card visit www.GiftsNow101.com Now!  to end reply STOP or call 1.877.808.9348"  I usually google a number that I don't recognize but I went straight to the website instead and got this link.  Went to the website and the company is called National Survey Panel.  Anyone remember if they signed up to do online surveys or such?  I am part of two legitimate online survey companies and this isn't one of them, however I'm wondering if any of the survey companies sold my information or if National Survey Panel has a mole.

I got calls from 702-520-1101, 760-526-8108 and 402-982-0719 within a couple of days.  I never answer calls from numbers I do not know.    Apparently these are all related and should be avoided.
