This number called my cell phone today saying it was the state's attorney's office. When I tried to call it back got no answer. Caller had a foreign accent.

Received c all from this #. Called it back, a man with a very thick accent claimed to be John Anderson. When I asked what this was about he claimed he was calling me about criminal charges being filed against me. I asked again what it was about. He became verbally abusive, yelled at me to "shut up". I told him I thought it was a scam & to buzz off. He then told me to "go f_ck yourself, b_ch.I reported it to the FTC. I called the # back, same man answered. This time said he was an attorney named Michael. He said the office opens @ 0900 & to call back then. I let him know that I filed a report with the FTC. Kinda funny that he was answering the phone @ 0530 but the office doesn't open til 0900. There was also other people who could be heard in the background talking on phones. Just a big boiler room of scamers. REPORT HIM TO THE FTC.

this number call my job yesterday an told me that THEY WERE FILING CHARGES AGANIST ME FOR FRAUD AND THAT they had a warrant for me got in contact with my lawyer and the DA in my state FOR THIS MATTER THERE SCAMMER IF YOU SEE THIS NUMBER CALL THE POLICE ..................................

I been getting calls and messages stating they are from an attorneys office me or my lawyer need to contact them or face legal charges from FBI. I havent actually answered the phone only listened to their messages, they barley speak english..

The nerve these people have to call my work stating it concerns a legal matter. got a call back froma +606 area code stating the same thing ony its not roger willams but mchael the exact same guy. said the us marshall will be at my work to arrest me wtf. do they not have anything better to do!!

I got a call from this company stating the exact same things over the weekend and had me scared to death because I do have loans out but they are on payment plans. He told me that I didn't read the fine print and they tried to take out a finance charge and it was refused. He was rude and nasty and threatened me with jail time and police at my job. Unfortunately for me I am not well educated in what the laws are in these cases and I fell for it and lost all the money I had in the bank at the time. This guy not only took my money but left me feeling like a screw up and very stupid. He actually admitted to my step father at one point that it was a scam and there's nothing I could do because he has the money now and he wasn't giving it back. Do not fall for this, if you receive a call or message like this call the police right away and they can tell you what to do. Or just tell them to screw off. Don't make the same horrible mistake that I did.

Did anything actually happen with this person calling you? We are worried that they are really going to like sue us or whatever and were wondering if in your case anything actually came about because of this. Also, after you reported them to the FTC did you hear anything more from this phone number?

A man with a heavy accent just called my job claiming that Calvin Peterson is an attorney and someone is suing me. What the What? first you contact me by phone, whatever happened to you sending me the information through the mail? Not falling for the okie doke...looked the number up first to see what it was all about and read all of this information, go find somebody else to play with!!

It's awful funny after I applied for a payday online (safe and secure-wink) that I started receiving these calls.  How can State Attorney's Office call from California when I live in another state. Needless to say I will not be returning the call and block them from calling my place of employment. Such a scam!!!!!

So its my day off and my boss calls my cell phone thing that this guy called from the state attorney general's office" I call the number and I ask a guy with the call was about he said I was being sued, when I asked him why had I not received a letter from the court house or a phone call from the courthouse, he hung up in my ear... oh yeah he said his name was John Watson..

Nothing will happen, this is a scam. They are trying to get you to pay them money so the problem will "go away" when really there is no problem to begin with.

I received a voice message from a guy with a extremely thick accent, almost sounded like a computer. He said I better return his call or have my attorney return it or all they could do was wish me good luck, but I better return his call NOW! Haha. I called the number back, mostly out of curiousity and it just rang then a beep. I'm glad I googled the number though and found this feed. I was so confused by the message.

I have received countless calls from this number as well as many ohter numbers all from CA, saying they need me to call them back immediatley, or my attorney needs to call them. saying the federal marshall is going to be at my work to arrest me because i owe $3600 in payday loans, or attny fees. the man claims to be john anderson, has very thick accent. hard to understand. i called number back many times. no answer,. then when i did get thru, they claimed to not know who i was, or who john anderson was. i told them they wer scammers and they hung up on me. i called again, and the man started telling me to shut my filthy wh*re mouth, that i was a stupid b*tch . thatt he knew where i lived and worked and he was going to get me and my family.

I applied for a loan last week and ever since then this number calls me about 10 times a day. My supervisor at work received a recorded phone call (because all of our work phone calls are recorded) and a guy left a message for me saying to call him back. He had a heavy Indian accent and he said his name was John or Jason from UCFC and left this number to call him back. When i tried to call that number after work no one answered. He finally left a message last night on my phone and said to have me and my attorney call him back. That alerted me so I called the number back this morning and I said that I was returning a call. He asked my name and I told him and he said with the last four of your social xxxx and I said yes. Then he proceeds to tell me "let me explain what is going on and do not interupt me". I said ok and he begins to explain that charges have been brought upon me for 3 counts. I begin to ask him who is this coming from and he begins to yell at me that he told me not to interupt him and i said you don't have to be so rude and he said deal with the consequences and hung up on me. When i tried to call him back he kept hanging up on me. When i got to work i asked my supervisor if the number he called in on was the same and she said it came from 866-765-6669 so she called it back and she says it was the same person. The guy asked who she was and for her phone number and she said you called a place of business and this will be forwarded to our legal department. I am going to investigate this more. I do not like the fact that he new the last 4 of my social.

They called me talking bout I had three charges against me really where they do that at n then when I tried  to call back they kept answering and hanging up on me so warning if u see this number don't answer call the police or your lawyer.

I've been getting the same calls saying the same thing. Now they have started calling my job and threatening people in my work. I have done a reverse look up and found out the number is actually owned by bandwidth.com . I called their customer support department tonight and had them look up two numbers that have been calling me. 760-624-8866 and 951-223-6693 and it was confirmed they both are owned by bandwidth.com. I was told to fill out this form on their website to report it to their legal department. http://bandwidth.com/resources/legal/policy_violations.html . Once their legal department gets enough complaints then they will do something about it.

I encourage everyone to fill out that form and report these sorry people.

Everything i have read is what happened to me. I think its a scam too.
