A male called from this phone number commenting on a bank of america card that I "had" . . . I don't have a card, and my name is johnny. So i knew the call was fraudulent.

I received a call from this number on Oct 2nd, 2013 and I didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message but I was curious so I called back and it was a credit collection company for my Capita One accounts.  I have 3 accounts which are past due but the man I spoke with is Ralph and he was super nice and down to earth.  He was understanding and non-judgmental.  If you receive a call from this number, it may be for your Capital One car however, since they are a credit collection company, they could also be calling you or a different credit card you may have.  If you don't have any such card, it doesn't mean it is necessarily fraudulent because you could have a phone number that once belonged to the person they are looking for.  Nevertheless, be cautious.  It's ok for them to ask for your name n address to verify if you are the person.  They may also ask for the last 4 digits of your social which is legit only if you ARE the card owner.

This Bonnie either works for this bill collection agency, or is a total moron!  Yea right, its ok too give them your address, last 4 digits of ss#, and every thing else they want to know! Get real , YOU DON'T GIVE ANYONE ANY INFORMATION.

Didn't answer or call back.  Don't know anyone in Cal.

I called this number back and they identified themselves as ARS. From all the websites I found they are all associated with debt collection.

Your debt is with Capital One, not the collection company. Don't give the collection agency squat. And don't pay the collection company...pay Capital One. Regardless if Capital One sold your debt to them, your debt is with Capital One. And whatever you do, do not pay the collection company because the collection company cannot report payments to your credit reporting agency, only Capital One can.

It's a company called ARS National Services.  They called my cell phone trying to reach my father.  When I said I was his son they hung up.  Calling the number back I got a representative saying they're ARS National Services but he was about as vague about what they're company is and what they do as they're website's about page:  ARSNational.com
All he'd really tell me is that they're a call center and my cell phone number is what they had on file for my dad and that they'd remove it from their system and that they're trying to get ahold of my dad.  Never once did they try to ask me for his number or how to reach him.  Kind of a weird way to conduct yourself if you're a legit business if you ask me.

Received a call from this number on my cell phone today. I am NOT delinquent with debt. I do not give out my cell phone number.  I did not answer. I agree bonnie is part of the fraud scandal.

Definitely ARS.  I think they are calling the previous owner of my phone number.  Years later I still get calls asking for her.

I keep getting calls from this number and they will not leave a message. Someone else posted it maybe someone from Bank of America but I have never had any accounts with BOA.

They told me they were ars looking for debt I owed  PayPal. I don't have a paypal account...
