I've gotten 3 calls from this number in 1.5 hrs. They are calling my phone every 1/2 hour (between 10:19 & 11:26 AM on a Thursday). I don't answer because they aren't in my contact list & I don't know who they are. Since they never leave a message, I assume it's probably some telemarketer or...?  After the third call, I blocked them w/o answering forcing them to leave a message or not get through.

This is a North County San Diego area code, which is calling my cell phone that has the same area code -- Carlsbad, Vista, Oceanside, CA

Number is listed as being from Barstow, CA

Most likely telemarketer. Called a few times to talk to me wife. When I asked to take a message, she won't leave a name or message, just said she will call later.

Called twice about 30 minutes apart. First time I answered, no one spoke - just silence. The 2nd time, after a long pause, the pitch came: "We are helping homeowners qualify for the $10,000 tax credit".  No thanks to this telemarketer.

This company is a telemarketing outfit called Future Solar or sometimes First Solar. They use people with foreign accents, so they may be calling from the Philippines, India or even Mexico using a repeater to forward the calls via their 760 prefix. This prefix is from the north county of San Diego. The lady who called me even knew my first name and my phone (which is unlisted), and I NEVER give this number out... OR my name connected with it. I'm very conscious about this. They must be buying names from some dirty government official when one HAS to give a name and phone number on their forms. That's the ONLY time I have ever given out my name/number combination! This is ANOTHER reason NOT to trust either Federal or State agencies! They hire low-class people who scam by taking data from forms and selling it to their friends and telemarketing companies. This company is a SCAM and they should be reported to the FTC via their website.

Same problem here, except they called my wife's cell phone and asked for me. The ONLY place where my name and her phone number appear on the same page is our cell phone account. Odds are that you and I have the same cell carrier and either their security was breached or they sold our names/numbers to somebody.

This number called our home phone a dozen times this month and twice this morning. One time the person left a message and said she liked to talk to us and she knew our last name.
We never answer the call.

Calls us frequently trying to sell us solar panels, even though we already have them.

Called once, didn't answer, no message... From the other posts here I'm assuming it's the telemarketer...

I also have gotten several calls from these people I hang up when they say "We can offer you 10,000".....I am on the Do Not Call registry obviously that does not work as well as it should.

Two calls from theses idiots today. I answered the second one, just background noise. Trying to find out who they are. Since I have been on Do Not Call list for years they are breaking the law. A law with NO TEETH, nothing is done to stop them.
I think everyone needs to take them up on their offers. Invite them over to get an estimate or whatever. Then their company can be ID'd to take action against their illegal activity. If enough people start doing this, then maybe the word will get out to stop ignoring the law and pestering people. The Do Not Call list is ineffective. Have them come on over, get a company name, and then lower the boom. I would have nothing against detaining them to be handed over to law enforcement. This might sound extreme, but there has to be a way to stop this annoyance. If this became the norm, telemarketers might get a message that people have had ENOUGH! and are tired of it. Do Not Call list doesn't work, time for plan B.

They have called me three times this morning, it's only 11AM, they said they are with "Future planning"  of something or another.  Told them they have the wrong number and blocked their calls but they have called back twice.

I don't get these calls as repeatedly as others here, but I do get them every few months. I just had another one today but I never answer it because I don't recognize the number and they never leave a message. After searching the number, I realized I have done this before, it is the same number I have received in the past. My phone is a cell phone and I had listed myself not to receive telemarketer calls as well, but it seems pointless. These people will call regardless. Any company who does calls in this fashion is very unprofessional, even if people don't answer them, it says a lot when they won't even identify themselves by leaving a message. Then again, they must be desperate to acquire customers, a lot of business struggling, but more reason to understand average citizens could not afford to add solar panels to their homes right now.

Today they called 3 times in a row, about an hour apart. They have called in the past and I added them to my block caller list. I am on the Do Not Call Registry and do not pick up phone numbers I do not recognize.  

Future Solar Telemarketing - called and asked for my wife by name - most likely they have gone through public records of land deeds, mortgages, etc. Claiming they want to help you qualify for tax incentives by installing solar energy in your home.

They call our home phone number many times a day and do not leave a message.  

I have an unlisted telephone number, I am on the Do Not Call Registry. Yet, we get calls from this number at random times of the day. Tonight it was twice. The second time, the phone rang only once. Really? I feel like I'm being personally invaded and there doesn't seem to be much I can do about it. THAT is sad. So, I hit redial to say please do not call me anymore. And what did I get? A recording that the phone number is not in service. I beg to differ....

Received several call from this number, there is never anyone there......I called the number and it says it is a disconnected number.

Called and was offering government subsidies for the energy savings. Solar I believe.
