This woman called and asks for michael. I let her know she has the wrong number.  she basically harasses me and tells me that this is the correct number and let her talk to michael. I try to explain that the people that she is trying to call do not have this number anymore. this went on for about 15 minutes.

It IS out of Minneapolis though I found out, using another website to reverse the # lookup!

It's a third party collection agency (written a bad check? or failed to pay a payment? These guys most likely bought your debt from the company you owe). They aren't very nice, though, and the woman who called me from this number told me she was marking me down for "refusing to cooperate and refusing to pay debt" when I told her I couldn't pay it this month, but would love to take care of it next month.

They call me about once a week. The first time I answered the lady explained to me I owed $44 to pizza hut for a bounced check. I had already paid my bank the 14 for the pizza and the overdraft? fee I incurred for it over a month ago. Apparently they want me to pay them for it too. A $14 pizza costing me almost $100.. I decided to hang up after the lady got rude demanding an extra $10 dollar processing fee to pay it with a credit card. Don't deal with this company, they make you feel lousy and demand all sorts of information and fees for them wasting your time.

This is your typical low life run-of-the-mill scum bag collections company. Don't say a thing to these people. Don't give them your name, your SSN, you address nothing. This could very well be an identity theft scam.

I am receiving a call from NRI on a regular basis. They are calling my adult son. I tell them that my son is not at this number and that I would be glad to pass a message on to him. I am not in the habit of passing out personal information regarding my family to people who will not tell me the nature of the call.

I have repeatedly told Shannon from NRI that I have taken down her information and passed it on to my son. She wanted me to give her the number of my son's work place. I am amazed that anyone would expect to receive personal information and at the same time telling you that the nature of their call is a business call.

Seems rather irrational I must say.

They can't give you any more info than that if they are a collection agency due to laws in effect. You can ask next time they call to remove your number as your son isnt at your phone number or address. They do have to remove your number if your son isnt living there. They will keep calling as its a good number unless you ask them not to.

They just called me trying to get a message to my husband. He is not mentally able to deal with anything do to a tramatic brain injury suffered during military service. The guy who called left his name and number. When i asked what company all he said was nri and hung up. We have a few debts feom years ago but the companies just keep buying them to keep thwm current.
