just received a call from this number and and letters on phone say SSI.  Trying to make you think it is Social Security Info. Really? Calling a residence on a Sunday afternoon!  Don't these scammer people have anything better to do?

I also got a call from them on a Sunday during dinner time. Didn't answer. SSI appears to  be a pollster/survey taker. SSI stands for Survey Sampling Institute. But you never know with these guys, they still could try to sell you something after the survey is done.

Recd a call on my cell ph from this number. Was a male with a very strong accent & I couldn't understand most of what he was saying. Sounded like he was telling me he was calling from a hospital? I had no idea what he wanted so I hung up on him.

Received a call Friday @5:30pm, answered because of the SSI, didn't notice the number (with no area code) until I picked up. Robo-call with delay on their side. Discussed I said "What" instead of hello. Worked out because she said something I couldn't understand and hung up.

This company calls every day of the week, all hours of the day and evening

Got this call twice today telling me that I am breaking federal laws and I need to call them back and talk to a federal agent.  Really?  Second call said this was my final warning.  I know for a fact that SSI doesn't call on the phone requesting information AND I'm not even on SSI.

Received a call from this number Monday evening in which the caller ID showed SSI.   I bet this is a foreign scam, since they dont have a clue as to the hours of SSI, nor do they ever call.

Got a call from these ppl, I was in kitchen and didn't hear it. No message left but caller I.D. said SSI

Received a call from this number at 8:15 pm. Caller hung up before o could answer, so I suspect it was a robocall

Got a call from SSI two days in a row. The first time the # was7652051442 at 7:02 pm and then the second day it was from 8013491706 at 6:49 pm. They never left a message either time. Why can't the phone companies or the government do something about this?

Just looked at the prefix and assumed it was from an old neighbor, I answered it.  No one spoke so I hung up and looked up the number.  I promise to listen to my husband next time and let it go to voicemail or, at least, be sure of the number.

Have received a call about every other day for two weeks. Our is landline with answering machine. (It obviously is not Soc-Sec). We just let the answering machine handle it. NEVER TALK TO THEM.

Called me at 4:05 pm on a Sunday afternoon while I was taking a nap. So I was already cranky. She asked for my name. I responded, you called me, who are you? She gave a name and said she was conducting a survey. I told her I don't do surveys and hung up.

This numbert has called a business phone number at least twice.   Seems like a Live caller as they are being transferred to a specific extension; but they never leave a voice mail.

Ask for birth date so hung up. Called 2 time in two days.

I didn't answer.  Called 3 times in one hour.  Calls multiple times a day.  I will be blocking.
