Call from Muncie, IN. My wife answered and they said they would call back at a later date with no message. Went to college in Muncie.

Its the Ball State "phone a thon" They want money from alumni! They are calling us, we went to school there also!

tell them to help me find a job and maybe i'll think about donating money to them! I still owe them thousands already!

Thanks! They call me every night after 9, which seemed odd to me.... I did my MA at Ball State, so that makes sense!

Yeah it's 9pm on a Sunday (and Halloween) when I was called. :(

They called on a Sunday - mid-afternoon.  Which is better than their usual time of any weekday around dinnertime.... ugh.  Sorry BSU, I don't make enough to give you anything.  Call David Letterman, I hear he's loaded.

Caller id said ball state, they hung up when they hit voicemail.

I have never had any dealings with Ball St. Univ. They keep calling, won't leave message.

This number called me continuously until I answered to talk to a young college student trying to get me to "donate" atleast $150 dollars, as I am an alum. I still owe thousands in student loans so no, I didn't donate. I was clearly busy with my children and told him if he was finished I needed to go. Now it is a month later since that phone call and they are calling yet again. Thanks BSU.

I keep receiving calls from this number. I looked on here and noticed that people were saying it was from BSU. I graduated from BSU in 2009 with thousands in debt. I am currently unemployed and I still owe thousands for my college degree. Sorry to those trying to contact people, but I am not able to donate anything towards BSU until im retired... and at this rate.. I am never going to retire. Good luck!

Ball State University fundraising. I've told them in the past not to call; that I don't believe in that ra-ra cis-koom-ba give money to your alma mater stuff anyway; that it's a money grubbing business, I paid my exorbitant fee, attended watered down classes for two years, got my fairly useless Masters degree. A fair enough exchange, now leave me alone. Right? Wrong. They called me again at 8:45 p.m. Sunday evening.

They will not take you off the call list unless you specifically say "do not call me again. " just saying you don't want to donate will not work.

They have called me on the 10-27,28,29, 11-03,07,08,10,14 I have told them 3 times to not call me!! That I am on the do not call list they just don't get it.. They need to be slapped with the same fine's that other people get... STOP calling me Oh and they said they would take me off there list...

I (sadly) worked at this location while a student at BSU. When someone says "take me off your call list" a supervisor is supposed to do just that. However, at least 25% of the people I called said they had already requested to be removed from the list. I couldn't cut it as a telemarketer. I gave my two weeks notice on day three!
As for the calls at 9:00 at night, we were required to stay and work until we raised a certain amount of money. Some nights we got to leave by 7:00. Some nights we were still calling people at 9:45.
This week I started getting calls again from this number. I was "removed from their list" 5 years ago...

Yep just got a call from Ball State. It's fundraising time and they are calling all alumni.

Have been called from this number the last 2 nights in a row at the exact same time. Searched and found this page. Funny thing is, I never have attended school there. My husband, however did. Interesting! I shall just keep sending them to voicemail (which they do not leave).
