A woman identifying herself as Mrs. Chin called for me a work.  She left a message for me that said this is about a complaint against you.  List the number of the compalint and wanted to hear my side.  Since I work with complaints at work the manager assumed it was work related complaint. Caused a lot of problems for me at work.

This number belongs to NRC (National Recovery. They are a debt collector that uses very shady and threating tactics. They make you think that they are investigating you and are always threating to turn you case over to the authorities. I believe that their tactics are probably on the edge of illegal. They call from a lot of different phone numbers.

This number called me and a very rude man asked if he could speak to Linda. I politely told him that no such person lives here & he had the wrong number. He then insulted me by saying "well I guess you must be screening your calls then because I have a claim against you". That's when I got mad and told him that he was [***] because I am telling him that there is no such person living here. He then got even meaner and started to go off on me. I called him a [***] then hung up the phone. That's when I went online and realized- this is some phony scam company. DON'T BE FOOLED! These guys are rude & aggressive!

yeah i received a call from "ms. chin". something told me to google this number cause her speech about needing to hear my side sounded fishy. watch out people for companies like this!!!!

I GET CALL FROM NRC FROM MISS JACKSON WHO IS RUDE AND HER MESSAGE IS PLEASE HAVE YOUR ATTORNEY CALL ME THEY KEEP CALLING ME THEY EVEN CHARGE YOU 15.00 DOLLARS TO DEBIT YOUR ACCOUNT I WILL SEND A LETTER TO ATTORNEY GENERAL IF ANYBODY GETS CALLS FROM MISS JACKSON WATCH OUT

I also received a call from a Ms. Jackson telling me to have me or my attorney contact her right away because a claim has been filed against me and will be filed against me in my county as well (she went to name 4 different counties near me). The thing is I just recently started a debt management plan, aren't these collectors supposed to stop calling me by now?

I got a call from 770 234 0101. I was sleeping when he/she/it called, as it was 6:15am PST, which is why I did not think it was my family from Georgia. There was a voicemail but only 3 seconds of white noise, nothing else. I hope not to hear from these fools again.

this [***] named miss jackson called me at 7am on a saturday. after i hung she called back asking me why i hung up. i told her she was rude and it woke up my 1 yr old. she then said, "if i had handled my business, she wouldn't be calling".

i then said, "[***], call back one more time, call back.."

no more call back

I got a call from this number ....he mentioned where I worked and acted as if he was interested in my services.  He was agressive with his questions, trying to pry out information. And then when I told him the person he was looking for was not here he turned it on me saying that what I was doing was illegal....b/c I was trying to find out what he wanted. Jerk! He had a chilean or argentinean accent and spoke to me in Spanish. He introguced himself as Mr. (something) Italian last name. Caller Id. 770-234-0101

Keep getting calls asking for someone who does not live at our address. After telling them that the individual does not live there, they keep calling anyways.

I had received a phone call from 770-234-0101 they told me they were going to contact my county and have a investigation done on me if i did not call them back within 2 days. Very rude message left

I got a hateful messafe from Tangela stating if I did not call in 24 hours the county would be after me. Pleae tell me who this is?

Was called and told to call back when I did I got a recording if it is indeed a vaild collection company send me a statement otherwise the harrassment needs to stop

This is a collection agency named NRC which stands for Nation's Recovery Center. They are located at 5115 New Peachtree Rd, Atlanta Georgia. They are a shady collection agency that employs lower scale peolple with low IQ levels. They try to scare you by saying that your case has been forwarded to their office which is a lawyers office, but it comes from another section of their office next to another person who is doing the same thing. It is NO lawyers office!!!!!

Yes you should pay what you owe, that is the correct thing to do. BUT, when your account goes to a company like this, the original lender has wrote it off as a charge off account, they have received a tax credit for all bad debts and they report it to the credit bureau and now the damage is done to your credit report and that stays there for a long time.

Keep your other accounts in good standing and you will over come the negitive effect in a couple of years.

This company will do nothing but harass you, they bought the bad debt for pennys on the dollar and anything they collect is theirs, they don't send it to the original lender. They threaten you with lawsuits, filing this or that and never do a thing.

I know this part sucks, but the best thing is to change your number. They will never send you anything in the mail. Keep a detailed log if they call you at your work place, this tactic is ILLEGAL and now you have a valid LAWSUIT against them.

JUST LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES WITH YOUR DEBTS AND FORGET ABOUT ANYTHING WITH THIS COLLECTION AGENCY. YOU JUST GOT YOUR GOVT BAILOUT. MOVE ON AND KEEP LIVING. THEY CAN'T GET WHAT YOU DON'T HAVE.

Got a call from a Carl Harris at NRC saying he was looking for Bailey and that it was a very serious and urgent matter.  I've had two of these calls in the past 2 months.  Said he was giving a "courtesy call" before taking any action against "Bailey"  There is nobody named Bailey at our home.  I called the number back and asked for the operator to see what this company is, as Carl Harris didn't even give that info when he called.  First the woman slapped me on hold right in the middle of what I was asking, then she came back and said she would need the number that they had been calling.  I told her I wouldn't give her that info until she told me what company they were.  She said again, "I'm gonna have to have the phone number."  I told her, "Then, forget it," and hung up on her.  Only a bogus operation would refuse to give you the name of their company and their purpose.  I sure hope this company is shut down, and soon!

Wow.  I',m so glad that I read all of this.  They have an ad in the AJC and I almost called them for a job.  I don't want to be associated with anything like this.

This woman from this number 770-234-0101 keeps calling my job and harrassing me and my coworkers and making threats to call my HR office. She keeps threatening to have my paycheck garnished. She is the rudest person I have ever had a conversation with on the phone. I've had to hang up on her a few times but she keeps calling my job. In good faith I spoke to her supervisor or someone who claimed to be her supervisor, and gave my account information and told her that I would let her know when the money is in that account so they can debit it. They debited my account without my authorization, and of course the money wasn't there. I am so glad it wasn't. Then they called me back and was so abusive accusing me of lying and giving them incorrect information. I cannot believe they had to gall to try to debit my account without my permission and then accusing me. I need to know how I and to whom I can report this.

My mom received a phone call left on her answering machine this afternoon from a Mr. Redick of NRC (National Recovery Center-debt collector). He stated my full name and said that I needed to call him asap. He stated that someone had made very serious allegations against me about a very serious matter and he was conducting an investigation and needed me to call him back to get clarify some details. They are also calling my work constantly. I had taken my mom’s number and my work number off of all my bills over a year ago. I don’t know how they got these numbers!

Got a call from same number, actually my wife....  Same story, same false claims.... this really should be illegal.  We will take you to court and add blah, blah, and blah.... Excuse me... your there to collect the debt you were contracted to collect and take your cut from the recovery.  This company really needs to get shut down.  Falsely lead to believe her credit would be OK if paid off in full immediately, which she did.

FBI and BBB.  Sounds a little harsh but essentially they just tried to electronically steel money they were not authorized to take from your account.
