This number keeps calling relatives of mine trying to get information from them about me. This is against federal law!

They are fraud. Do not unveil any info to this caller. Be careful. They will be in jail soon.

These been calling my phone that if I don't pay they are going to take Me to court I block my number but these other call me telling that they are from Los Angeles county can some one please give me some advice please I don't know what to do no more.and these person that called me his telling me that he is a private investigator

its the real deal, although the try shady acts to get you to give them ur  money.

Telemarketer/Debt Collectors,  intimidating and threatening. Report filed with FTC. Will also file with BBB, Consumer Protection, AG in Atlanta, and anyone else I think will aid in putting these people behind bars. No One threatens my family!

Got a call from this company saying they are investigators and I or my legal rep needs to call them to delay further action.  They are very threatening and I check credit report and nothing even on there.  Not sure what they are trying or what they think.  They even called my ex husband from 17 years ago threatening him.

call saying i had a check like 7 years ago and if i dont pay it i will be put in a jail. Leonard Phillips was the guy i talked to he said he has issued a citation for me in my county, that if i dont pay i will go to jail. He also stated that the President passed a bill last month( Feb) that ALL debt has to be paid and thats why they were trying to contact me. I have no idea what this is about. I believe him and gave him my credit information in fear of going to jail. I have not clue as of what check he is talking about. He could not even give me the amount of the check. Someone please advise on what i need to do.

I took a loan from a company called loanpoint usa, payments were taken automatically for my bank account each pay period.  I assumed they would take the amount back half one pay period and the other half next pay period.  When i talked to a representative stated i had to call them so they can take one payment for full amount.  If you don't it is still like you owe them.  These people continued to take money from my account for almost 8 months until i woke up and had my account blocked. Now
this so called law company is stating the company is going to summons me to court for a balance i have already paid 5 times the amount for because i didn't follow most likely a hidden criteria that came with the loan.  Today the so called law company wanted me to settle the debt for half the cost if i gave up my debit card info. I told them i couldn't do it today, just to stall so i can investigate this so called law company.  Has anyone done any research to find out if they are legitimate? I checked online with better business bureau and they gave these people an (F).  If they are legitimate, i have no problem attempting to resolve the issue, otherwise im not giving any money, especially from my bank account.

The keep calling here saying they are gonna file a complaint. I don'tknow what they want they won't tell me.  They just keep calling my cell phone. Can you make them stop?

They called us today and it was in regards to a payday loan we took out years ago from loanpoint usa.  These payday loans are dangerous because you pay 200% interest. We thought the loan was paid off, but it wasn't so now we are having to make payments.

Yes the same thing here and I was about to give my information, but did not have the money today, and a swore I paid these people off, becasue the same like you and me these people where taking the money out of the account, and these people keep trying to tell me I wrote a bad check, and I kept telling him I did not write a bad check, but he was saying getting a pay day loan was the same thing and because I gave my account information I already think I gave them to much information as it is.  yes and he called my relatives which was and insult. I going to do some investigation also and find out what is really going on because if I may owe them like 100 bucks but I know I don't owe them $1100.

these people called me also....... stated they represented Loan Point USA. said i owed 900. if i refused to pay i would have to go to court which would cost me 1500 then. that this is a hot check which has no end date. i paid this loan off. going to contact the District att today to see how i can stop these people from calling me. The cops said let them serve me, they can  not arrest you for a bad debt! The cops said they could be in another country using a magic jack which u can have any # u want to have so its hard to track them down. these people are a pain.

SO I get a call from this company stating his name is Mr. Long and he is gonna file papers with my county and I need to resolve this debt who are they and why are they calling me over and over again. Can I sue for harrassment.

This place is calling my old home phone number and now my cell number telling me that a case is going to court, etc. They claim to be Choen & Schwartz a Debt Collection Law Firm. They leave a Toll Free number and a case number and tell me that they need to verify my SS#...yeah, right. This sort of crap is so irritating. The woman claims to be Miss Williams. I am so upset with these sort of scammers. Comeone needs to get the local police involved. They are listed elsewhere on this site by other numbers and names but all for the same place in Smyrna, GA.

Don't call them back, they are scammers trying to get personal information.

this company "Cohen, Shwartz and Associates has called my home from a variety of different numbers. I wish I could get them to stop, it's a scam. They said the first time "You have bills that have been turned over to us and we're a collection company"  2 days ago they called and said "You have been reported for writing overdrawn checks, and your being watched. They will use any kind of scare tactics. I had a woman from Canada ask me on a different forum more information because she had given them her bank account to keep her from being extradited for using funds inappropriately. I wish the FEDS would do something to this company.
If you have a personal voice recorder I would call back and tell them that they are being recorded after they give you a big lecture of why they're calling. I did and it pissed them off, it was rather hillarious, I have them cussing me up a storm on a recording.

This company keeps calling me about my son and a "serious" issue concerning his ss # yeah right... they said they want "more information to figure out what is going on with him"... I get these calls periodically and when I call my son he says it is a scam... Watch out people don't give ANY info out about yourself or anyone else w/o knowing exactly who they are.... This is illegal to keep calling me about my ADULT son in another state!!!!

I got a call from a Mr. long at CSA saying that I needed to call or they will file a summons in jurisdiction if I didn't call by 5pm today.  He even called my grandparents home and I haven't lived there in years.   Thankfully I googled the number and found info about them.  They need to be stopped.  This is ridiculous.

These people are scamers I called the RTFM and filed a complaint they told me that this company does not exist and it is a scam!!!!
