An indian guy, speaking poor english, from some company called charter global, about a contract job that they want to submit my resume for

I received a similar call today.  He then asked if I knew of anyone that might be looking for a manual testing contract job.

i got a missed call from the same number.  that makes sense.  now that you mention it, i got an email from the person.

I got the call for contract job with same # above and he is insisting me to give my SS# at least last 4 digits. But I declined.

I just got the same call!  The guy could not speak English and had a job in SC ... weird

Calls and hangs up immediately upon answer

indian woman as well as man that barley speaks clearly stated he  was calling regarding a job that was available in which i am currently working for now. Its seems to be a fraud caller or someone trying to ge your attention as well as ss3 and any personal info

They're an India based Recruiting firm that is annoying as hell. They just keep calling and calling and never do any research beforehand to understand that the jobs they want you to take are nowhere near where you even live !

Got a call from the same number this morning.  I knew it was some recruiter or agency because my resume is currently active on dice.com, monster.com, and careerbuilder.com.  Decided to not answer and let it roll to voicemail.  They left a voicemail but did not say anything.  Although I can hear people talking in the background with heavy Indian accents.  Very unprofessional

Same thing, call and call, and since I don't know this company I let it go to voicemail . . . after a few seconds, without saying anything, the caller simply hangs up. Now after reading the posted comments, I shall not be answering calls from this company. Supposedly in Georgia, but lots of calls from India use VoIP and have numbers that appear to originate from the USA. Bah!

Caller just wanted my personal information. Highly likely is a scam to retrieve data for identity theft.
Please beware!

How do you stop these damn calls? I have blocked their numbers and they just come up with another.  I am on the no call list!

This company keeps calling about a job opening a thousand miles away from where I live. Block it.

Take your resume down from places like dice and monster. They keep pulling your resume and calling your number

Same thing as the rest. A man and woman with Indian accents, but speaking relatively decent english, keep calling me about a job and want my info. Claim they got my resume off of careerbuilder. Called the company that the position is supposedly for and confirmed the calls are a phishing scheme. DON'T GIVE OUT ANY OF YOUR INFO!!! Also, the only way to get these calls to stop is to have your number changed and keep your new number as close to your chest as you can. Other than that, in my experience, blocking numbers is a hit or miss type of solution and doesn't matter if it's through your carrier, your phone or with 3rd party software.

Same call, indian man w/thick accent left message that he had opening.  Checked # on this site first, deleted message and blocked number.  WIsh there was a penalty for robo calls.
