getting harassing calls and will not stop

This number calls me all the time. When I answer it there is no one there.@!!!!!

Why can't something be done about this caller, when you answer they ask if you are and they say your name and then they hang up. What is up with that? I called back to see who would answer and they keep saying please wait for the next person lines are busy and then it goes to an aswering machine and then the mail box is too full to accept anymore messages. This is very annoying, and I would like to know who they are and why they are calling. Any ideas?

I agree, do not know whom they are, but it is old, they start calling at 8:30am. Something does need to be done.

This number has called my cell a dozen times in the last week.  They call at all hours of the day and night, and never leave a message.  No idea who it is but a legitimate caller would identify themselves and nobody who does not know you should be calling late at night business or otherwise.  Needs to stop.

This number calls my house phone. Usually 2 - 3 times a day.  (By the way - this is considered harrassment!)   It rings, when you answer, it says good bye!  I called them and they are trying to reach someone else that had this number before.  I informed them that I just got this number 2 months ago.  They said they will put my number on the do not call list.  We'll see.....

i have had this problem for months.  i just don't answer.it is very annoying, i wish some one could do some thing about it.
