No message...hangs up after only 1-2 rings

Just got a call, answered, told me this was the final notice for my call, said press one if you want to reduce my interest rate. Pressed one. A lady answered said thanks for holding, I said i dont own a credit card I want off your call list, she hung up within half a second.

Keeps calling, no messages.  I don't answer unknown numbers.

Called and left no messge

Called and said could reduce cc interest rate due to new law. Started asking questions. When asked for number and extension to call back, said she had no extension and she said her number was 888-832-1222 which is actually the 'national do not call number.' Called back and I got a message from 123assist, which is a scam job.

Same exact thing here. I'm reporting them now.

They say they are Account Member Services.  They are trying to reduce credit card rates.  All you have to do is give them your credit card number - REALLY?!?!?

Same thing about the credit card interest rate.  How do we stop them!

where do we report these people? i get calls about my "Final" courtesy call at least 2-3 times a week and they hang up on me too. I reported to the FTC but they dont follow up on every complaint.

Message and caller use words to try to mislead one into believing that they represent your credit card company.  They do not identify themselves nor do they apologize for calling numbers on the Do Not Call Registry.

Trying to get credit card numbers for lowering interest rate. When asked for a phone number with extension for the person in charge I was hung up on. Im on the national do not call list, that doesn't seem to matter.

Got a call from this number....on cell phone which I thought was illegal. In fact I get an "ad" call a few times a week lately. Again, supposedly illegal. This time I listened to the caller who saud somethng to the effect "There is impoetant information about your credit card......a woman's voilce. I hung up immediately. Who do you report the sort of stuff to ?

I spoken to Jim Turner, he said "grub your credit card and give me your card # and I can try to lower your rates!"    I said "I don't know your company feel enough comfortable to give my credit card #."
Then he just hung up the phone.  I called back right then, recorder says person is unavailable.
Well, I don't need to do anything with this kind of sad company.
I will deal with my card company ,if I need I will call.
I wonder how much these agent(caller) makes to disturb innocent citizen.
They must know this job is bad.

This number just called me and left no message. They then called my work number and have been calling it for  afew weeks now.  Wonder if that is just a coincidence...would like to report them as well, since I am on the do not call list!

We get these credit card calls that our card is not having problems.......  I just hang up instead of pressing their list of numbers.  Nieve people may give out info the scammers can use to get access to the credit card.  This is fraud but they don't care.  Wish they could be traced and taken care of !  DON'T give anyone any info unless you are certain that who 'you call' is legitimate!
