I've gotten tons of calls they identify themselves from a Parker and Parker Law Firm (Indian accent) stating they are representing a company whom I owe something to but I have no records of doing business with their company.  I call and they transfer me to another "rep" but all their voices sound the same.

I recieved a call from stating they are from law offices of cochran & cochran stating I owe are resprenting a company I owe money to but I have not applied for any loan for this place. They have an indian accent and then transfer me to another rep. who sounds like the same person.

Yea me to Its smells like [***] to me. Have you guys applied for an online loan?

I called back and you can hear all the noise in back ground like telemarketing oveseas. I asked when did i borrow money he said Oct. of 2010. When i called again then they said June 2011 This is a scam anybody I could call that would do something.

same thing here they call me tellling me that i have a lawsuit they even keep calling my work any one no a way to turn these guys in?

I have been screening many calls at work. When I asked for more information, they claimed they were in Chicago, when I asked for a street address, he refused and threatened to call the police on me. I said "please do!" He hung up.  There isn't a law firm in Chicago by this name. The State Attorney's advice is to simply hang up, but they keep calling back. Give them no information, just ask them for their address, what is Parker's first name? Why doesn't the city have any record of them being in business? When they start to get belligerent (and they will) ask him why he doesn't get a real job at 7-11 or Convenient Mart?
Feel free to ask for somebody who can speak English.
Trust me, if you are persistent in bugging them, they quit calling.

i got a phone call from some guy at this number threatining if i dont pay them 500.00 right now they will have a omaha sheriff pick me up no that was my first clue this was foney there is no such thing and i looked them up on line and through resources and nothing shows them to be a law office a few days earler i also received a call from a california number claiming to be a attorney but it also was the same guy.

Get this call all the time and its so annoying..attorney General advised me not to say nothing and just hang up...they also said ask for their business ID number so you can report it for further reference..it worked well for a little time

I've been getting the same.. They are 100000% Fraud, they have a case against them now through the Fed trade commission.. Call your local police department and file a fraud claim. that's the only way to shut them down ASAP.. Itis illegal in the USA to pretend to be a law firm in order to collect a debt. the number is 773 741 7498

I am getting the same calls from the same phone number 773-741-7498, it is 100% fraud. They are just trying to extort money from people. They claimed to be the Law Firm of Parker & Parker for me. The only Parker & Parker Law Firm I could find on the internet is in India and they deal only in Patent Law, be these guys say they are in California and want me to give them my lawyers information, what a bunch of idiots. I told them I have already filed a complaint with them with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), which I have. I suggest that anyone else contacted by these people do the same, and when they do get biligerent with you, just tell them you have reported them to the FTC, the guy I told that to got extreme;y nervous and said he was sorry and that he would relook into my case and then hung up quickly.

Do not respond to these phone calls they are trying to confirm your identity in order to steal it or try to exstort you for money by saying you owe a company money if you have done a pay day loan app online that is how they got your info. Please do not respond report all of them to your local police the SS administration and all three creditors. I applied for one payday advance and nowI get these phone calls all the time. also google the number so you can find a location for he number. but what ever you do, do not confirm any info they have tell them I'm sorry you have the wrong number if it is on your answering machine play it to the police file a report and with the other agencies listed. that means every number you recieve.
