Smae thing - I have received a call from this number for the past week,. Every night at 7:55 PM CST. I won't pick up the call. They leave no message.

I think it is Loyola Fund raisers.

This # keeps calling my cell phone,I am on the do not call list, both home and cell phone #'s. I want the calls to stop!!

Yep, it's Loyola... again!!

I am also on the Do Not Call Registry. No message and I did not answer.

Geez--one would think that with a Jesuit in the Vatican our alma mater wouldn't need to fleece us for donations...

CID: 773-764-0157 LOYOLA UNIVERSITY; individual claiming to be student asking for donations. Asks for credit card payment.  POSSIBLE SCAM / FRAUDSTER

I worked for Phonathon for 4 years, sir, it is not a scam. It is a group of students who work for the Annual Giving Phonathon and are raising money for the school to help with scholarships and much more.

To all those concerned, I can confirm this is the number for Loyola University Chicago's Phonathon. I am a recent graduate of the school and worked in that office for 4 years. If you try to call the number back it will say it is "unassigned" this is because we use an automated system. Call 777.508.8020 if you have any questions, that is the office number. If you do not wish to be called, please answer the call and tell the student worker. Otherwise we have no idea of your preferences. Since Loyola is a non-profit, it is except from certain do not call lists because it is not telemarketing. However, you can be placed on their Do Not Call list, just ask. Current students are the ones who are making the calls, please do not be rude.

This number called me last night at 3:00 IN THE MORNING. I'm also a Loyola student, but why the hell would they be calling at 3 AM?!?

This phone number belongs to Loyola's Campus Safety Department. This is why they may call at strange hours--they are trying to contact you in case of an emergency, if they find your ID, etc.

Scam- calls daily and hangs up
