Picked up at 9:59A.M. on 08-09-10.  There was no one there.  Waited until "Please hang up and try again" recorded message began playing.  Possibly the second time recently. Annoying.

Got a call at 10AM.  No one on the line. Caller I.D. Lists "Illinois Caller."  Reverse lookup lists Broadwing Communications, LLC - IL Their website, broadwing.com forwards to http://www.level3.com.  Level 3 has a report abuse e-mail, listed above.  I e-mailed there with above info in addition to stating that we are on the Do Not Call list.

Still receiving calls from 773-797-9644.

Level3 claims that number was transferred to another carrier but does not name the new carrier. They hide behind this disclaimer on their communications:

Call their customer service # 877-2Level3 OR 877-253-8353 and demand this harassment stop as they are aware of who is doing this, but are not cooperating in resolving the issue.

Disregard previous post.  abuse@level3.com has no relation to 773-797-9644  at present.  Level 3 cannot, for  reasons not stated, offer further info as to who currently has that number.
