Received several calls on my cell phone couldn't really understand them, thick eastern accent.Said was calling from some law office,  I hung up. Stopped calling from that number and called one other time from another number in the Seattle area.

I've gotten calls from these people too, but says it's an "officer chris". Says that I owe $25,000 for a payday loan. Told me they were going to come to my work and arrest me and take me to court.     They have also called using the return phone number of 111-111-1111, 000-000-0000, 841.  When trying to call them back you get a recording asking for your card number.  

This is a total scam and have reported to the police!

Whenever my husband calls me at the office from our home phone, the number appears on my office telephone as 775-332-0507.  First that is not our home number and it doesn't happen when he calls me from his cell phone.  All other calls come in showing their actual telephone number.  I really must wonder if it has something to do with Vonage, which is our telephone service.  I too called the number to see who answered and got a recording asking for a "Card Number."   This is strange.

Received a VM from this number with a guy with a thick Indian ancient stating he was officer Shawn or John something or other couldn't understand what he said. Stated that he was calling from UNLV ,right from a Reno number, regarding a legal matter that he could not discuss on the secured line he was calling from, really! And that it was regarding someone accessing my SSN. Again said he was officer so and so which was not the same name that he had said before not that I could really tell either way. And that I needed to call him. So I called the number back and it was a recording asking for my card number really like I'm that dumb! SCAMMER!

Now they have my boyfriends number and are calling im looking for me saying I comitted fraud but they are calling from 315-551-5643 and leaving call back number 469-718-7315 and when u call the call back number they won't tell you what company they are just  calim to be somebody with an American name but are obviously not american and they just want your phone number. told them that if they continue to call me and leave fraudulant messages i would prosecut. major scam. i believe its from online apps for loans.

I've been in contact via email with someone named Robert Bedore for a rental home in Van Nuys, CA. He said he was out of the country but could still rent me the home. He asked me for some general info about myself. I responded but told him that I really would like to see the inside of the house. He said that he had the keys with him in Abuja, but if I send him half of the deposit that he would send me the keys. So I said I would get back to him. Then he called me back a while later from that phone number, but when I called the number back they asked for a credit card number. He then called me back from an international number 123418283448. I asked him why that number he called me from asked for my credit card number. His response was to make sure the line was secure! I told him I did not want to rent anything from him. He had a thick accent either Middle Eastern or African.
