This one came across my Caller ID as RENO. They did leave a message stating they could LOWER MY INTEREST RATES. Message was short and cut off.

Called ID says Reno, NV.  Did not leave a message.

Same message as everyone else getting.. when i got a live person I asked name of company and she said card services, i asked what is your website and they claimed they didn't have one. Really?? its [***] 2013 what company doesn't have a website. Please someone find these people and beat them mercilessly for the good of mankind.

"Card Services" called a cell number that is on a Do Not Call list and is used only for emergencies.  Hitting "0" disconnects the call and calling back gets a recording that the Magic Jack customer has a number that's not been assigned

Nothing that you do will stop them from calling you. The major players behind this have made millions of dollars, which means that they are too big to fail.
One of the major players specializes in aiding the rich with tax evasion and shell corporations set up in Belize. You can bet that the well to do in this country are not getting lower your credit card interest rate calls and due to that fact our government just considers a few phone calls a minor annoyance.
The FCC has temporarily halted 5 of the minor unprofitable boiler rooms. They will receive a slap on the wrist and be back at it within a few days.

In the meantime the calls will continue since the major money is being made with what is called a CNAM revenue-sharing program through companies like   http://www.telephonemanagement.net and http://www.CallerID4U.com

You can now see why the criminals keep calling even though they know you won't fall for their scam. If someone does make the mistake of answering the phone and falling for their con then it is just icing on the cake for them. These people are the lowest form of filth on this planet. The only way to stop this is to contact the FBI and ask why this crime family is allowed to operate and facilitate the ongoing criminal operations. This is one of the reasons that the RICO act was put in place, so why aren't they using it. Is this because this isn't a high profile, news worthy operation or is the FBI too understaffed and busy with Homeland Security issues. Maybe if we were rich they would take this seriously, but then if we were rich we would be using that criminal organizations services and protecting them instead of trying to shut them down. It is alleged that they launder money from Pacific Telecom through a trust bank account in Oregon and into foreign accounts at Scotiabank in Belize and other destinations.  

Why hasn't the FBI used the RICO act and gone after this organization? On October 15, 1970, the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (18 U.S.C. §§ 1961–1968), commonly referred to as the 'RICO Act', became United States law. The RICO Act allowed law enforcement to charge a person or group of people with racketeering, defined as committing multiple violations of certain varieties within a ten-year period. The purpose of the RICO Act was stated as 'the elimination of the infiltration of organized crime and racketeering into legitimate organizations operating in interstate commerce'. S.Rep. No. 617, 91st Cong., 1st Sess. 76 (1968). However, the statute is sufficiently broad to encompass illegal activities relating to any enterprise affecting interstate or foreign commerce.

They called me at work and it was a recorded message stating that they are card services and can lower my interest rate.  The rate they gave me was higher than my actual current interest rate.  I pressed 1 to speak to someone and it rang for a bit and then just hung up on me.

I report all of these to the DNC list and the FCC but our wonderful government works so "hard" to do absolutely nothing about it :-)

Someone should Call these guys at [***] up hours of the night and harrass them find out what each of their home phone numbers are HEY thats a good [***] idea.  Next time one of you gets a call from them cuz you know you will ask them their first and last names we'll get all their names and find these people and harrass the [***] out of em. from card services.

Why do they call and just cuss at me? These are the foulest people I have ever heard. They called me all sorts of names and told me that they were sending someone to do ------- to me and my family.

Why can't the phone companies help us?

Answered a call from 775-410-1104. Recorded message from "Ann" to say I could lower my credit card interest rate and to press "1" to speak to a representative. No option to press a key to avoid future calls.  I pressed "1" - hoping to tell them not to call me again and say I'm on the Do Not Call list. The phone rang for about a minute and then I was disconnected. I called the number back and there was a message, with a lot of static, about subscribing to Magic Jack by visiting MagicJack.com. It went on to say "This number has not been assigned to a customer. If you feel you have reached this number in error, blah, blah, blah." Then the phone disconnected again!

Have received numerous calls (different numbers along with this one) with a recorded message about lowering credit card interest rates.  I press 1 to speak to someone.  As soon as someone gets on the line, I tell them I am on the dnc.  Before I can finish, they hang up.  These calls are annoying and you can't get them to stop

Why are these people " credit card services allow to constantly harass us on our supposedly private cell phones, and one directed to a live individual, they have nasty attitudes and hang up on you, you ask them to remove your number from call list, but they change their numbers and continually harass people, it seems there can be seething done about this type behavior.
