I received 2 calls from this number about 2 hours apart.  The first time there was no answer when I said hello.   The second time it took a few minutes some a male voice to say hello.  He had a foreign accent. I hung up when I heard the accent.  Didn't want charged $200 a minute from a call from who knows where.   A little scary.

Anyways, recieved some call from this same exact number. Looked strange so I picked up and hung immediately... quite freaky. Looked up this website and left a note. So odd!

This number told me they will call every day.They call every 20 mintunts.

I got a call from 777-888-9999.
The phone never rang.
I looked at the phone later, said I missed a call.

Called it back.
Said that it wasn't a working number.

We have his voice on our machine--We know him--He knows us--very longggg story--do any of you live in Saint Cloud?  Had an 'independent' cable guy do work for you?  He also installs phone lines using a scanner to pick up on other frequencies.  Does your phone 'beep' or 'crackle'??  Anyone ask you if you just hit a button on your phone because they heard it and you didn't??  He's disgusting--The police will simply tell you that with the scanner they cannot catch him--Besides he has a police scanner as well and, brags about being a mile ahead of them.  If he gets your name and calls repeatedly--he gets his rox off scaring women especially---Just hang onto your [***] because there is absolutely no way he can be caught--We shut off all ringers during the night -- we get up @ 5a.m.--He's on an expired visa perhaps as he is over there every day--alllll day.  After digging the bunker---we now hear power tools in the attic--It all began after the hurricanes in 04'--We were too busy replacing the roof and putting the guest room back where it was--Then the fence--fell down too--[***] over there--no damage--digging a freaking 'basement'--In 'florida'--We heard the power tools in the house then as well--One couldn't deny the saw dust in the bathroom window -- Under which floor we believe the door lies under a rug--We started drinking when we began hearing his 5 dogs down there--I was in the(his) house 2x during this period of our lives. WOW!!!  Talk about weirdness--This dude is king.  A computer room with perhaps a dozen monitors--I looked @ one and saw MY EFFING BACK YARD!!!  True story.  The 'inside' of that utterly creepy place is like half the size of the outside--I felt like there was a hallway behind the walls--scared me. scared really bad--I hear 'thumping'(he claimed the house of 20 years of still being there was still 'settleing)  as he's filling his pipe with tabacco (whateverrr) hands it to me--Theres a faintly familiar yellowish crumbles of crack or meth--don't know which--My instincts were screaming @ me to get out of there--right now.  He hands it to me and, i quick tell him that i don't smoke and that, my husband of 18 years is due home for lunch -- Didn't think he'd buy it cuz, my husband never comes home for lunch.   His whole identity changed--he was shocked--almost as scared as i was--'someone' was definately behind that wall.  He suddenly was quite anxious to have me go--asking me why didn't i tell him my husband was coming home......I just wanted out.  My husband thought i was out of my mind-- Ha!  Until one night after dark i asked my darlin to take the dog out before bed.  hahahahaha--He comes in weirded out and tells me "That crazy effer was on the roof and, just kinda slid away when he saw my husband.....Like he was hoping that he hadn't been seen--vindication was mine!!  Short lived-but, mine.   Our son has 1 more year of High School and, we definately plan to move--Until then he will continue to creep in the woods behind the house,  We only use our cell phones, We have to put our dog 'Tessa'  down soon--She keeps getting into some skin irritant that has eatten her hair and we simply can't afford any more visits to the vet -- It just comes back after every $500/treatments.  Embarq techies knew him when they came to see whom had tapped into our phone lines--Saw his van--and, told us exactly what was happening with our electronics.  We dropped Embaq--As, he 'was' free-lancing for them-which is how the techies knew exactly what he was doing.  They dropped him and, he continues to harrass us--destroy the greenery in our backyard--next to his--Our dog will not go outside alone--We don't acknowledge him--We just keep praying that someday he will make a huge mistake and actually get caught.  We have to hope--not much left to go on.

Received a call from this number today. Won't leave message. Who has this number and why are they calling people?

Received calls from this number almost everyday for the last 4 weeks. No one is ever on the line. I tried to dial the number but can't connect.

been getting calls from this number for a few weeks, never had answered it, and never get a message left on machine! I am in California, looks like this number is wide spread.

this number has called us 3 times today. Who are they?  We are in California.This is Memorial Day, and I wish they would leave us all alone.

The 777-888-9999 is a cover to confuse the caller ID. The calls originate from several locations around the country. If a woman answers then you get a man with a heavy accent (Indian?) asking if she has (something garbled) and if she says not interested, they hang up. This is the first cal. All the calls afterward, they ask for the female BY NAME! Just how creepy is that? If your phone company has the capability, you can have the number blocked to not connect. Or anonymous call blocking will work too.

have gotten 2 calls from the # today first time they saud nothing just kept the line open second time they were whispering something it was way creepy.. I live in Fl also..I am calling the cable company..

I received several calls from this number.  I called my cell phone provider and they say that this is a blocked number that someone has programmed to show up as 7778889999.  I finally answered and this guy foreign accent asks for some guy named Jeremy. The line is very muffled.  I told him to never call back.

This number has called my place of employment various times. We have caller ID at work and every time it comes up, everyone looks at me like I've done something wrong because they only ask for me when they call. I'm past upset!

I called and spoke with someone at the phone company after receiving a call from this idiot and was given this number:

I live in CT and received the calls 3 times this week. When i pickup the line goes dead.  I call it back and it goes to someones cellular phone. The first time i called it was a woman the second time i called it back a man picked up who said a woman shouldnt have pickedup

Looks like CT IS THE NEXT TARGET LOCATION, many web postings dating back sometime but in different states. Will continue to look into this on the web. This is without a doubt a computer dialing random numbers and redirecting calls. We had kids on the other line with this number on caller ID its appears harmless at this time don't freak out. Like most of the other postings I have read, the common connection to my opinion is most people here a different people. They also say this is the first time they called. Even though you may have gotten 3 of more a day. The system dialer they use on computer isn't perfect, just the erason why sometimes there isn't anyone there.
