Call came up as a Katherine Barr. It was actually a foreign man calling about my computer.  Don't own a computer. Hung up on him!

Received call 5/29/17 from man with very heavy accent. Difficult to understand but key words he used were: he was from Windows Services and had critical updates. Am familiar with this scam. they ask for control of computer so they can fix problems and install a parasitic program that slows it so it becomes virtually unusable then later charge for the service to return it to it's original condition. They specify: Windows, their bug is Windows specific. Told them use Linix OS and he gave up! Hopefully I will be taken off their list. CID listed: Katherine Barr( Phony )! BTW, Was definitely a SCAM call but had to choose "Telemarketer" cause scam wasn't listed!

I was in the mood to goof on them - up to the point they wanted to take over my computer. We shared some $%^$%^ you before he hung up. A good 20 minutes the scumbag from India couldn't scam someone else.

After looking up this phone number to see who it was and if anyone reported it, i decided to answer the phone when they called next which was just a short time ago.  He informed he had my computer number for Windows so I then asked him what it was since he claimed he knew it.  He began to make up some number so I cut him off and informed him he better not call my phone again or he would have some issues.  I also informed him I was aware of his scam and I wasn't falling for it.  He hung up.  The dude knew better than to mess with a Jersey Girl.

Caller ID identified as Katherine Barr from Rockford, IL. Caller called 5 times today and I do not answer unknown numbers/callers. Did not leave any messages. Checked several sites about unknown callers and all said that this is a scam about Microsoft IT claiming I having an infected computer and wanting to take control of my computer to remove it. No one was willing to allow this Indian computer expert into their computer. I also noticed that there have been what appears to be dozens of comments about this scammer today and yesterday so I can only guess that they are calling thousands and most people just haven't commented on these caller sites.
