Woman calls regarding window replacement.  The telephone number is not active, in fact there is no exchange 780-178-XXXX  This is a spoofed number, so it is likely a scam.  Just hang up, or don't answer.

"Mary", a woman with a heavy East Indian accent claiming to be from "Windows and Doors Mart".  Asked if she was speaking to the homeowner, then said they're *going to be in my area* and wanted to book a free, in-home inspection for their big discount offer.
This looks like the same SCAM as the "Northern Doors & Windows" thing.
HANG UP, DON'T AGREE TO ANYTHING.

somebody from this number called. Hung up when I answered.

This number has called me before and continues to do so. This time she told me her name was "Ashley". When asked where they got my number they did not answer, and could not tell me where they are calling from either. The rest matched up perfectly with SilverScribe 's comment, about being a window company that is going to be "in my area".

FYI, some people think this is from All Weather Windows and it's absolutely not. SCAM!
