How to find who exactly called from 1-780 328 3711 phone? I understand that this is some scammy collection agency and they left the phone to call them 1- 800 588 4024 (as I understand, from NRC collection agency). I picked up the phone, nevertheless automatic message told me that they can't reach me and that, if I don't contact them, they will proceed with legal matter in my absence. Last year I stopped one collection agency in Mississauga (NCR or NRC) after complained to the Ministry of Consumer. I had to send proof to the Ministry and finally the agency left ,me alone. I still have the number of the complaint, so I guess I need to call to the Ministry again, but I don't know who exactly was calling and turned on that harassing automatic message when I picked up  the phone.

The guy from the agency (last year) was so rude on the phone that I was shocked. Of course, they bought not existing "debts" from Premier club whom I attended for a while and stopped going after my membership was over, but the Premier decided that they could continue charging me biweekly without my consent on it, ignoring our previous agreement that they should send me a letter 90 days prior new year, but they didn't. So, that was fake debt. The agency threatened me that they will spoil my credit history and that it is easier to pay than to proof that I don't owe anybody any money. That was "terrific". The Ministry of Consumer told me that the agency has no legal right and power to report to credit bureau. After I complained the calls stopped right away. It was a person who now probably sold my "debt" to someone else from this collection agency system. I need to know the name, I can't complain saying the telephone number...
I couldn't get the name - it was something like Mr. Blunstine... but I am not sure. Was somebody else  disturbed by this person and found out about who is it more?
I couldn't reach them in the evening (probably the telephone was set up on automatic dialing), and I can imagine how they are going to talk...

Oh I see on the bottom here that the phone 1-780 328 3711 is from Alberta, Edmonton, St. Albert. Wow! And I live in Ontario, Mississauga...
That makes you nervous when someone turns on the automatic message threatening you to proceed with legal matter against you in your absence... Why the government can't make finally the laws to close all scam organization?

They keep calling and calling looking for some guy named Gabriel. Has been going on for 5 years....that is right 5 years of this harassment. I talk to them each time and the liars say they will remove my number but nope....it continues into infinite. I have never heard of this guy Gabriel, I don't know a single person named Gabriel but they still keep calling and calling and calling.

How do I get these idiots to stop....my number according to all of the different named people I have spoken to has been removed but this doesn't stop.

I hate these kinds of incompetent companies.

I have had the exact same problem. They have been calling for three years now for someone named Angela who does not live at this number. I have blocked every number they call from and they continue to call from different numbers demanding money or threatening to persue legal action. The messages always say they are from "Mr. Boulstine's" ? at NCR, and leave a number to call 1-800-588-4024... I have never called this as I am skeptical if it will solve the issue of them constantly calling me. They will probably ask my name whereas I am not Angela, and there is NO way in creation that I am going to give them my name... Any suggestions???... This has been happening now 2-3 times per day. We moved to this residence and have had this number for 3 years now - I can't even be sure that "Angela" ever did have this number prior to us, but I am getting annoyed with being harrassed by these constant calls with the same recorded message, looking for someone who no longer lives at this number... Sounds like a SCAM!!!

Every time I pick up the phone the automatic recording comes on -- I have gotten two versions, one from a man and one from a woman - If I don't answer they leave the recorded message on our machine, which clearly states our first names... NO ANGELA!!!

Ontario - The Ontario Limitation Act 2002, came into force on January 1, 2004. It sets two years as the term (Section 4). This limitation will be reinstated where the debtor acknowledges the debt or makes a partial payment towards repayment of his debt. If the default occurred prior to January 1, 2004, the creditor will continue to have 6 years to pursue the claim. However, if the default occurred after January 1, 2004 then the 2-year rule applies.

This is a SCAM! They have called my husband about a 22 year old debt? In Canada debts are not pursued after 6 years. Legimate debts that are being collected are not done over the phone, email, etc. the only legal method of collection is through correspondence sent through Canada Post. BEWARE! I have contacted the Police about this "firm"

    Scammy collection agency.
They have called and left a message everyday for about a week stating that if I don't contact them they will commence legal action in 24 hours towards some debt obligation I don't have.
I must say, this has been the longest 24 hours of my life!

most of these agencies cannot collect a purchase debt no matter how much they leave threats..Once the 2 year mark has passed they have to legal basis to collect from a person in Ontario

The automated message I got was from "David Steinburg's Law Office", and to return the call immediately or they will start legal proceedings.  They called 3 times last week and once this week.  I've called them back now twice to tell them I am not the person they are looking for (even though we have the same last name), and to stop calling me, he hung up on me.
The debt collection agency number for the Province of Alberta is 780-427-4952. Make sure you call them and tell them about this scam.

Correction 780 427 4088 or 877 427 4088 is the Alberta office, each Provincial office number is different.  If you go thru the process I did you have to get a form, submit the form, then submit another form to another person, who accepts your form .... and they'll still keep calling.

This company called and left a nasty voice mail message, that they would sue me if I did not call back in 10 minutes. No mention of who they were, or why they were calling but just this nasty threatening comment. I did not bother to call back as I consider a call like this harassing. Looking on here I assume they were debt collectors as I just got this telephone number and get a lot of debt collectors from the previous owner of the number.  I do not live in Alberta.

Let me add my voice to this. Whoever it is from this number - supposedly a message from a Mr. Bloomenstein or Mr. Steinberg - is using harassing and threatening language. They can be sued.

I received this recorded phone message approximately 30 minutes ago; listening to this harassment, they were using my mother's information. I find this very offending and hope they call again because they will be phoning the wrong person eventually or already have.. that will find & sue them. I hope they are not targeting the vulnerable people =(
