I missed the call and when I called back it just rang busy

i dont know who it was but its annoying

when i answered they said the have personal business for me and i'm to call them back at a "888" # but don't say how they are

they keep calling saying they have personnal and important information but they never say who they are

They kept calling me and said they were looking Andrew More???!!!I dun even noe who dat is!!!Simply annoying!!!

They call daily but I just get a hang-up whenever I answer. There was only once where there was a recorded French message (I do live in Quebec), but my French is quite poor and I couldn't catch everything. I owe no money to anyone, anywhere, so I think it's just a scam.

found this on my call display but there was an automated message saying to call back 8664639161 and gave me a reference number. sounds like a collection call but no idea who it is because I dont owe any debt.

It's a collection agency...you can get them to stop calling your house...it has to be in writing...they will not stop,it's a repeat calling machine...once your number is in they call all the time...remember,in writing and the calls will stop...also...these company buy your debts for let's say 30 cents to the dollar and they try and collect as much as they can...but the collecting aency is NOT your creditor...so you owe them nothing...you do not have to pay them nothing...

I called the 1-888-488-1051.  The gentleman stated that they are indeed a collection agency named Metropolitan Collection Agency.  I do not owe outstanding funds and did not offer any further information other than my name.  He wanted to confirm my address which was an old address from a year ago.

Quite curious.  He  would not give any information regarding company that I supposedly owe or outstanding balance that needs to be paid back. He insisted that the "way it works" is that I give them all of my personal information and he will send something in the mail to me with the information that I was looking to clear up.

C'est selon ce que j'ai compris, il doit rappeler de toute urgence un no que je n'ai pas eu le temps d'écrire. J'ai toujours gardé le même no de téléphone et ce no était à mon nom donc pas au nom du mari.

Tell them to [***]! Or tell them you want to see the original document,if you live in Ontario they can't sue you after 2 years of trying to collect the debt.I block their number.

They have a wring number attached to some guy named Kevin.  They have called my house once twice three times a say for 2 weeks    U know be iAds u have been on vacation and came home to a dull answering machine from these people.

they called me today sep 15 2011 in montreal. machine talking asking for my girlfriend. i hang up and i will not call them back.

who are they

They called me on a brand new cell number. There was no answer when I answered the call. Will not be picking it up from now on since it appears to be a collection agency.
