They called but didn't leave a message, when we tried to call back no one answered the number.

This number is the MISERICORDIA HOSPITAL   EDMONTON ALBERTA.

they call my home and then my cell and did not leave a message.

When you call back that number there is no answer.

When I called the switchboard at the hospital and asked if it was one of their numbers I was told yes.

They are supposed to be validating you appointment for the next day!!

But if there is no message one just "aasumes" it is tlelmarketeers and ignores them.

They do this to me all the time and when I try to call back there is no answer and when I do get through to the doctor's clinic they are quite nasty and tell me that if I answered my phone I would not have this problem.

I told them I am so sick and tired of telemarketers that I just ignore callers I do not recognise.

Further, they do not leave a message.

Yes that would make sense as I received a call from that number tonight.  I am assuming they are wanting to confirm an appt I have there on Monday.

yes, I just got the same phone call from the hospital but like you say I thought it was telemarketers and so ignored it
when you call back there is no answer
then they can bill you big bucks for missing your appointment

This voicemail (male voice) said,

Hello Madam, Good evening. this is James from the Bricks. I am calling to tell you that you have won a furniture from us. You have won a queen size bed so please, give us a call back so we would arrange your pickup, ok. Take care. Bye Bye!

The same guy always calls me from this number asking to speak to Tanya. He gets really pissy when I tell him this isn't Tanya's phone and that this has been my number for about 8 years now. I asked what he needed last time (the 17th call), and he said he wanted to talk to his daughter Tanya. So it isn't an official call.

This call was for an MRI I had scheduled. It was from the Misrecordia Hospital

This is the number for the MRI department at the Misericordia Hospital, Edmonton!  IF you are on the cancellation callout list and you don't answer, they move on to the next person on the list until someone answers and accepts their newly allotted MRI appointment!   ANSWER IF YOU CAN!!!

My call from 780 735 2999 caller ID'ed as Kevin Sharp, so it the call originated from the Miseicordia regarding a filll time for a cancelled appointment the caller ID would be expected to be Misericordia Hospital.  Could be the Janitor is moonlighting 🤑

It says Kevin Sharp but 735 is designated to AHS and the person calling is pre-registration for the outpatient department
