Somebody called me from the Red Cross and tried to persuade me to donate blood. The caller knew the day when I became eligible for the donation, but didn't know that I came to a Red Cross donation center that very day and was barred from the donation for a medical reason. It appears that Red Cross outsourced their calls to some company that is not aware of some important details. Basically, those call are waste of time. This phone number has called my cell phone three times in the past week - they never leave a message.  I tried calling back from a land line and I can't get through.  They call at night, between 7 and 8:30 PM.  Very annoying!

The Red Cross calls me every single day asking me to donate blood. They switch up the number every now and then. This is the most recent one. If I ignore the call, they leave no message.

Called 2xs, no message,  unable to call back,  no idea who is.

This is the Red Cross, calling to see if you want to schedule a donation.  If you pick up the call, you can simply ask to be removed from the phone list and they stop calling right away.  I prefer to schedule through the mailings I get, and someone else said they prefer to schedule online.  No problem.  Just pick up one of the calls and tell them.

I'm glad I looked up who belongs to this number.  I didn't know who was calling me ALL the time..literally every single night!
Now I know it's the American Red Cross.  They need to seriously stop harassing the people who donate!  Like another person mentioned on here that a person can look up & schedule an appointment Anytime on their website & do not need constant phone calls.

Yes this number keeps harrassing me with calls at about 8pm every day. So disrespectful to do this to donors. It makes me not want to donate blood to this organization again.

I am unable to donate blood for the next eight months (new tattoo) but whoever is calling clearly doesn't have that information OR write it down because Goddess knows I've told them before. I understand it's a shortage but damn, folks.

Number keeps calling me everyday, don't know who it is, answered once but didn't hear anything.

Calls frequently.  Never leaves message.  I'm blocking this number.

Pretty sure it is the Red Cross, recently blocked their previous number they were calling me from and I guess they just call from another number...They were previously calling me from 781-461-2012. I mean I understand people are in dire need for blood, but constantly calling me and not leaving messages makes me resent you.

They need blood and if you're ever in an emergency you'll be glad they've got blood to give to you.  If you don't want them calling, tell them and they'll take you off.

But don't knock them for trying to help people.

The call is from Red Cross, they have been told that I can not due to medical condition, at this point it is harassment.

I've gotten many many calls from this number. Today I finally called back (someone did answer but it took awhile and the line sounded dead before it connected so don't hang up right away if it sounds weird). I politely asked could they stop the constant calls and they put me on a list to only be called over the holidays...which was fine with me.  It is annoying when you're doing a good thing and donating and then they harass you non stop - but it's all for a good cause and it does seem you can get them to cease if you persist!

I received the same call and can’t give because they said I had an exposure to hep.  Thanks for sharing your story.  Ive received the same calls.
