Pretty sure its a telemarketer from IT Business Edge.  I've been getting these calls at work because I do staffing for the IT industry.

some girl named 'Sara' claiming to be from "Verisign" called. Said that all she wanted was my email-id and my 'permission' to send some kind of document on 'SSL'. I asked why in the world she wanted me to read it - said that it's more like an informing/education/white-paper. Spoke quite respectfully - but left me bemused as to how/why they would do this!

Called and voice message was just boiler room noise, no message left.

Called and left no voice message.

Called and left no voice message.

Called and told front receptionist their name was Jason calling from VIP News.  Sent them to voice mail but they did not leave a message.  No idea how they got my number.

Someone called and left no message from this number.  I googled it, this is how I found this page so my suspicions were confirmed... it's a bogus SCAM of some sort. DO NOT CALL IT BACK they will CONFIRM your phone number and/or name and other info and use it for other weird purposes, such as possibly stealing your identity!

They call everyday. I am tiredof them calling me so I  called the number they called me on and I am still getting a busy signal.  I have read they are vip news, voice over ip or voip.  I want to sue them for calling after i asked them not too.  so if you know who they are send me an email to clint.tiller at athensdigitalsystems dot com

Called again this morning at 10:30AM, my office phone...  Leave no message.  Try to call back but get fast busy.   Called last week several times, too.  I called back at all hours even late at night, get fast busy or "voice mail is full" message.

This jerk has just called for EVERY person in our IT Dept.  He just keeps calling again and agin and asking for someone else.  Our IT dept does not answer calls that they do not recognized so he is not getting anyone which then he calls back and asks for the next person on his "Hit List'  I just mute the line and let him hang.
