    I got a call from this number saying they were a federal crime lab and that I would lose my job if I did not respond.....

    The people calling from this number are SCAMMERS - they claim to represent something called the Federal Credit Bureau - this office DOES NOT EXIST.  Call the Federal Trade Commission hotline at 877-FTC-HELP to report this number if you receive a call.  They seem to be either East Indian or possibly Middle Eastern in their accent, terrible grammar, don't believe their attempt to get your personal info in order to get $$.  They called because a payday loan database containing people's personal info was hacked into and compromised.
