The message left on my cell phone is: "You must call me back, if I do not hear back from you or your lawyer then good luck, and God bless you.". This is so bogus and irritating, the guy has an accent  and it is an autobot call.

Left me a voice mail.. said name was Jason - didn't catch last name.. heavy accent......"  don't disregard this message , if you don't return my call and if I don't hear back from your attorney the only thing I can do is wish you good luck in this situation. good bye and may god bless you."   WTF?

Got the exact same message as above.  I just said thank you for the info and hung up.

Got the same message saying get a lawyer or good luck.

I think this guy should be prosecuted for such threatening & intimidating calls.  

If you EVER call me again i will prosecute you to the fullest extent

And he asked me who my attorney is and they wanted to send  the call to there attorney. He asked me if I was the person they were looking for I asked him his name
And he would not tell me. I told him it was a scam and hung up on him he had a forum accent

Got the same exact call.  Have you noticed a pattern.  We all have the same name.

I got the same message from this number - 2 days in a row now. 1 - on 2/26 and another today 2/27.

Got the same message.  I advised the caller that I worked for a Police Department and he changed his story from warrants were being executed for my arrest to someone would be contacting me to answer a few questions.  I hung up on him.

Same message from Jason Smith....he didn't even wait for my voicemail to complete the greeting so I have no idea what the first part of the message said but definately threatening.  I deleted it not worried about his stupid scam

I have received several  voice mails saying that if they did not hear back from me or my attorney, all he could do was wish me good luck and God bless.  Did not leave his name or name of company he was calling from.  Had a very thick foreign accent.
I have called them back twice now and get the same story - they say that I received money from one of those "get quick loan now" companies, that I had not paid them back, so they were going to issue warrrants in my name.  I have never even heard of the company I supposedly received the money from.  It was supposedly deposited directly into my bank account.  What was scary was that he had all the info on my bank and everything.  I moved almost 3 years ago and closed that account over 2 years ago.  I called the bank to make sure no deposits had been received, and, of course, none were.  When I told this guy that I had never heard of the company and that this was a scam, he hung up on me.  It made me mad so I called him back to ask why he had hung upon me and he said he was "fed up with me."  He started telling me that warrants were going to be made out in my name, that I owed this company over $5,000 and that this was "not going to go away."  I ended up hanging up on him.

Yup got a call this morning from this scum bag creep. If he calls one more time . He gets sued for harrassment.  Ill start a class action suit on him. We'll have him thrown in jail....prison...

Yup, he just called me a few hours saying the same thing, and its weird that almost all of the comments on here are made by  Debbie, Debra, or Deb's.

I unfortunately have been getting calls from collection agencies for a Deborah (I will refrain from posting her last name) for a couple of years now.  Apparently she must have used my telephone number for one or more payday loan applications.  I've tried to get the calls to stop without much success.  I received the threatening call that is the subject of this thread and assumed it was for her as well.  My guess is that it's a debt collection agency which searched for any numbers they could find for a Deb/Debbie/Deborah in a certain geographical region.

I've received a few missed calls from this number and decided to call back and the guy (very thick accent) said there is going to be a law suit against me starting tomorrow.  They claimed to have emailed me numerous times to a Comcast email address (I have never had Comcast before) and not to hang up.  I have no idea why this person keeps calling me but every time they do I just hang up.  I have not received any formal affidavits or been served so my guess this is just some sort of scam.
