I was called by these people, and needed to call them back the very next morning, they say the number has been disconnected, I do not like this.

I get this call & the guy on it says "Karen, please pick up" - no other message left.

This number called my home and said they were the local fire dept.

Call ask for me and my husband by first name

Called me by my first name and said he was Dan Edwards and that he might of got the wrong number and hung up.

Yep, sounds like a scam. They call, ask for your name and say they got the wrong number and hung up. Happened to my business line. I am sure they get the published numbers from the white and yellow pages. They probably sell lists to telemarketers for any live person numbers they identify. Do not pick up. They are jerks. When I call it back it goes blank, no response.

They called me from this number and say they are fire figther from South Carolina, yet they are calling from Florida, isn't that weird?

I answered the unknown caller 786-587-1021 id with this statment...

Ohla, he said, do you speak englise, I did not say anything, he changed to, do you speak espanol, I said, se, he hung up.

Looks like they are just compilling business lists to sell

Called and hung up, when I called back - No answer.  Do not answer your phones.

Caller asked if I liked "White Trash Parties".  I said what?   He said they are parties where white people really get f@#%ed up.  Then hung up.   I tried calling back but there was no answer.

she told me that I have to call during
business hours to the business office!

I traced this number down through BellSouth. I got through to a company called Paetec. Paetec owns the line that these SOB's are using.  I let them know what their customer was doing with their phone line. I was told that they (Paetec) would inform this company that they were not to call me again, and that if I received another call from this number, that they wanted to hear from me, and that they would be take actions against them in my behalf.

they called me, i was'nt here my boyfriend answers, they call my name twice when my boyfriend said he spoke to him, he said oh i'm sorry i got the wrong number, well when i got back from the store i caught hell, about i am cheating, and my boyfriend got my cell phone and called it back to see if they'd talk and no answer, so he tried again and i said hello and they called me the wrong name but now they have my cell number also.

I was called by this number, too.  Left a message on my recorder a if they knew me by my first name...of course, our phone is listed by my first name, so go figure!

This number is calling daily for the last couple of days and just hanging up.  Hopefully someone can make them stop.
