the caller (with a heavy accent) claims to be from the IRS...They said if I didn't call back immediately then I would face the consequences...and they wished me good luck...

Got a call from this number, no msg.  Spam!

When any caller, proports to be the IRS is it not only a scam but illegal.  Problem is these blokes use so many pirate numbers they can't be found. Best thing is to block the call and never give out private information.  PS: The IRS always uses the US Postal Service FIRST for official notices.

Reported these guys to the Treasury Dept at https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml & to the IRS at phishing@IRS.gov, subject IRS phone scam.

I received two telephone calls on September 1, 2015, at 11:21 a.m. and 2:31 p.m.

I was unable to catch the first part of the message that was left in my voice mail box, but it alluded to the fact that it was the IRS and it said,"now if you don't return the call or if we don't hear from you or your attorney, the only thing we can do is wish you good luck as the situation totally unfolds on you.   Before this matter gets executed to the courthouse or you get arrested, if you need any information or have any questions, kindly call the IRS back at 786-749-5933."

This is the second time I have gotten this call but from a different number. Both times they were heavily accented and claimed to be the IRS. The first time I called back I could tell they had caller id because he addressed me by my name on my cell. I told him I would have my lawyer call and he got pissed off and yelled. I tried to call back and the number just rings then goes dead. Today I got the exact same call from a different number, called them back and yelled " I'm a stay at home mom so f-off!" And now when I tried to call back the call goes incomplete again. The IRS does not call you. LOL
