Report a phone call from 786-923-0962 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- ScottI get a call from these dipsticks once a week. They hang up if I answer, or leave up to 4 minutes of garbage message in my voicemail if I don't. I have had 4 minutes of static, hold music, background chatter I can't quite make out, and once what sounded like a TV weather reporter.
I tried to get data online, but really don't want to give Intelius $15.00 and then find out the information is garbage. What I have done is report them to the FCC, the Department of Justice, and the Attorney Generals office in Florida.
If anyone actually gets the information on who this person is, let me know. I plan to file suit and formal charges. - MikeI get calls from this number several times a day. We need to find them and remove them from this planet.
- MikeHere is the info I found for that number:
Sunland Property
Dade County, Doral, Fl 33172
Company Name: Allegiance Telecom of Florida, Inc. - DavidI've been getting these calls, too. If anyone has made any progress, I will be happy to lend my experiences to any legal action against them.
- JohnSame here, these guys are incredibly annoying!!! I have been getting around 10 calls a day from these guys. I don't anser and they never leave a message.
same# (786) 923-0962 - IsabelaOk guys, they call at least 10 times a day. Here is the wierd thing. THEY NEVER TALK- but when my 5 year old answered they FINALLY said " Can I speak to your mom" I picked up with quite a lot of attitude- and the guy stated himself as Jim from " ABAY". Then I got freaked out and hung up because if you guys know- when you try calling this creepy guy says this line is disconnected. And it was the same voice.
- Caller: Sunland Propert
- GeorgeI'm getting 4 calls per day from this number: nobody is there.
- John in Austin4 times this week.
- Scott in Jax, FLI recieved a call from this # as well. What's funny is, I lived in Atlanta until I relocated to Florida recently. So the phone was previously live on an ATL-based address - never got a call from them. Then the phone was disconnected for about a week. Then I reactivated it with an FL-based address (same ATL-based area code). Within a week of that re-activation, I get this call. I say "Hello?", they immediately hang up. I call the number back from a landline, and I get this less-than-truly-professional recording (it's obviously no phone company...) stating "this line has been disconneced". Then why was I called from that number?!
I expect that they're fishing for numbers to add to a telemarketing list, which they'll sell to others. They're obviously trolling data provided by the phone carriers, and they much have recieved my number with the latest DB extract they recieved from my cell phone carrier, as my account change triggered this exposure. I'm sure they're violating multiple FCC regs, but they don't care about this stuff (unless complaints against one company number in the tens of millions): they're far more concerns about keeping smut off network TV while most kids watch what they want when they want on cable\satellite (rolls eyes)...
Government is so ineffective at just about everything...- Caller: [Unknown]
- E in San JoseCalled, left 3 minutes of music, no voice message, and this is through a PBX, where the base number is dialed and then later an extension has to be input.
- Caller: Sunland Property
- william"[***]" continue to call & hang up when answering.. Any one know how to block these type of calls? What type of answering machine can I purchase that has a call blocking by inserting either the number or and the Name of Caller?
Is it possible to provide a constant call back dialer to that number jaming their system so they will have to delete that existing calling number?
FCC & feds will do nothing, this is always the case with them.. Need help from the Telco World out there..
Need input ASAP.

- KingstonWell, if the following info that Mike provided is true,
Sunland Property
Dade County, Doral, Fl 33172
Company Name: Allegiance Telecom of Florida, Inc.
then what would keep someone living in Doral to pay 'em a little visit, hehe. These aren't really people, they are parasites. Treat them as such.- Caller: Sunland Propert
- RichThis [***] calll several times a day up here in NY and they hang up every time.
- Caller: Sunland Properties
- RobertTHIS WORKS to stop the Annoying Calls: One call to make it stop
(this is an update to the process that I started a week ago)
PROCESS:
(1) Call the local provider, XO Communications, Custome Service (888-575-8309, staffed 24/7) to file a report of Annoying Calls coming from that number.
(XO owns the local telephone company in Miami that provides service for the number used by this business).
XO Customer Service will create an order to call the business to ask them to stop (XO confirmed that this number is owned by "Sunland Properties," as indicated on Calling Name devices from other postings on this site).
(2) Wait 24 hours to see if the calls stop
(3) Call the local Police to file an Annoying Call report ands they will follow up locally. At this point, I'm unsure whether that would be (a) North Miami Police Department (305-891-0294) or (b) North Dade Police (305 4-POLICE).
SUCCESS: I have received *no calls* from this number since calling XO Customer Service (completing Step 1).
I did not have to call the Miami Police to have them intercede.
I hope that this works for you, too. - V in AustinI live in Austin, TX and receive these calls every day and that too at very odd hours like 4 in the morning or 12 at night. Whats strange is I never lived in Florida or even visited it. Should I call the XO customer service or some local company here at Austin to make the annoying calls stop.
- EricI tried Robert's 8-Sep-2007 suggestion but the listed number didn't work.
I did call XO Corporate at 1-703-547-2000, Ask to be transfered to "LEGAL", then asked to be transfered to "abuse and complaint" department. Give them your phone number and any details. They will "reach out" to "Sunland Properties" to advise them to stop calling your number. - Dongsy normusWhat is happening here is your name and number is on a telemarketing list. The calls are being placed by machines that dial multiple lines at once to increase the persons contact rate. So getting mad and calling people names is doing nothing but making you look silly and immature.
XO is a service provider and they are not placing any calls, they do have the ability to contact the customer who is accessing those lines, who are service providers also, also not placing calls, but giving the ability for someone to call on their service.
Think of you making calls from home, your provider is not placing the call. You are from your phone. Same in this situation. This is 2007 and computers run our digital world. Don't get mad at a person, there is no one tied to the call until it is connected, even at that point the person on the phone does NOT know who they are speaking with.
Telemarketers may be annoying and bothersome but they have families to feed also. Some are older people who can't lift boxes, others may be handicapped and this is the only income they can make. If a telephone call really bothers you to the point of wanting to sue for a simple phone call, I think you should take a step back ad re-think your aggression. Re consider who you vote for and try to make a positive change by doing something of positive value.
I wish my biggest concern was someone calling me. I have bills to pay a job to keep and a family to tend to. I laugh at the thought of a phone call ruining my day. - michelleThese guys have been calling me once a week and each time I try to answer and tell them to stop calling me! !!! But each week I get one call from them on my cell!
- jackyi got this phone # calling me 3 times a day. I simply hung up before answering. who cares?
- Tim in TampaThis number calls me at work most business days, and it has been for months. I used to answer it, but since no one ever speaks when I do, I have stopped answering. They occasionally hang on long enough where my voicemail system records 15-30 seconds of background noise, but there is never a voice.
It is one of maybe 5 numbers that I recognize on sight, and just ignore.
