I just called the number and it's from diabetic supplies.

I got a call from a man wanting to send me a free diabetic testing meter because BC/BS wants to update all their patients in South Dakota!  But he said he needed my doctor's name and my policy number in order to verify coverage.  I told him I didn't have my card with me, so he said he would call back.  I started feeling very uneasy about this and started researching the call I received prior to this one that was asking quesiton about my diabetes.  508-475-1304...that call came out of Maryland, this 786 number is out of Florida.  Just doesn't sound right.  I can call my doctor to send a request to the pharmacy to get a new meter anytime and the pharmacy will bill my insurance.  I really don't know of many insurance companies that would initiate giving everyone new meters!!

I did not request a new diabetic meter at this time. Do not know how they got a hold of my telephone number. I don't answer & they leave no message for me. They need to stop calling me.
