Someone called from this number and informed me that they had my kid due to an accident and he has caused damage to his motorcycle and If I paid $3500 everything would be solved and he  would let go, Almost caused me a Heart Attack at work , Got suspicious and got in touch with my son, whom was a Home, Thank God, I Hope who ever did this gets caught, and maybe this does not happen to another Family

My grandmother got a call from this same number saying my uncle had crashed into a bike and they had beat him up and had him, and wouldnt release untill she paid 900 dollars, they told her to meet up somewhere and to make the cash money order.... they came home to get me and i thought this was a con, called my uncle and he was fine. went to the cops and made a report.

Called me today saying my brother got in a car accident and that he is ok, but they will keep him untill they get 2k to fix the car. other wise they will shoot him in a head!  Said don't call police, don't hang up or my brother is gone. I did hang up, called my brother , he was fine at work. Thank God!  Please catch that guy!

It is not a prank, it is a common con.  Did they sound Latin American?

I HOPE ALL OF YOU HAVE CALLED THE COPS ON THIS ISSUE BECAUSE THEY KEEP DOING IT.

I got a call saying they had my brother hostage and they wanted $2500 to let him go. I knew this was a con, so I hung up and reported it to the Miami police. They already knew about this scam and where it originates (Puerto Rico) and there is currently an investigation happening there.

I JUST RECEIVED A CALL A FEW MINUTES AGO FROM THIS # SAYING THEY HAD A FAMILY MEMBER KIDNAPPED FOR CRASHING INTO A MOTORCLE. I ASKED HOW THEY LOOKED AND THEY DESCRIBED MY BROTHER SO I STARTED ASKING QUESTIONS ABOUT THE TYPE OF CAR MY BROTHER DRIVES. AND THEY SORT OF DESCRIBED IT ALSO. THEY GUY ON THE PHONE TOLD ME IF I CALLED MY BROTHER THEY WERE GOING TO KILL HIM, I CALLED MY BROTHER EITHER WAY FROM ANOTHER PHONE CAUSE IT SOUNDED FISHY AND HE ANSWERED SAYING HE WAS FINE AT WORK. THE GUY JUST HUNG UP ON ME.

They called my dad today saying that they had his kids hostage and where going to beat them if he did not pay a randsom

Same caller called my aunt and stated that her son was in a car accident and that she needed to send $1500 via Western Union so he would let go of her son. I contacted the local police and they mentioned that this joker has been doing this all night long and they have received numerous complaints!! I ran the number and comes back to MIAMI CHILDRENS!!

They called my daughter but they were speaking in Spanish so she gave me the phone. They told me my son crashed into his cousin's motorcycle.  Told me his cousins beat him up and took him to an apartment and my son had given him my daughters number so we can help him.  He told me that if I hung up they would kill him.  Thank God my daughter called my son from my phone and he was home and okay.
These people need to be stopped!!!!!

This guy just call me , telling me that my brother or son was injured from a car accident, but when I start asking about the color of the car and model he got upset, because he was doing me  a favor, then he told me that he will let the other people kill him. What a M@%&^ Fu&*^&%.

this guy called us telling us the same thing that he wannted money or will shoot my husbands son. But when i calle him he was sleeping and didnt know nothing about a motocicle accident. He also called from a (305)4849643. The scary part its that how he knew 3 diffenrent family member's phone number and knew everybody;s names.... Police need to do something about this...

This person probably sent out a scam SMS that someone on your contact list responded to, that had a virus in it. This enabled the scammer to copy their sim card, contact list, photos etc., and he is using the information to extort money from everyone he is able to reach. The Miami cops have received several complaints, and there is an ongoing investigation in Puerto Rico.

They called from this number and an additional number 305-965-0485. They called my mother in law and said that her son had been in a car accident and if she did not send them $1200 to Puerto Rico they would kill him they were telling her that they were supposedly beating him up until they got the money. We figured out the scam and myhusband called the number back and they told him that if he didn't send the money immediately via western union that they would kill him his wife and his sister.

I rcvd a phone call from this ass saying that if I'm XXX sister Deedee which i said yes and he informed that my brother was involved in a horrible accident and is between life and death and I cant call him and for me not to call the cops. If i do call him or the cops they will make sure they kill my brother.
I hung up and called my lil brother obviously nervous, anxious and screaming when all of the sudden I asked where is he, he said he was home and just woke up from a nap.
I hung up with my lil brother and called his wife to assure that is true and he's ok.
Which tk God he was fine.
But seriously something needs to get done about this.
This is no laughing matter. Someone so cold hearted can play a prank like this.
