It called and left a voice mail using a robotic voice. It didn't identify who it calling for.

Got a voicemail from this number.  The guy sounded like he was from India. He was looking for someone who wasn't me and said that I needed to contact him.  I won't bother calling back.

Calls all day and night.  I have answered, but there was no reply.  Its getting a bit old.

I rec'd a voicemail also from a Guy who sound like he was in a foreign country and he knew my full name and stated that I needed to call him back right away.  Made me question, so I blocked my number and called back.  A recording comes on that states they are trying to collect a debt.  I find that funny because I don't own ANY credit cards at all...

I also got the number off of Craigslist.com .  It's a scam, I should have known.  We went through and gave them our credit card number, and they took 199.00 out right away, and again, and again and again.  Our bank couldn't track them down to get our money back from them (luckly we have protection).  We have since closed our account and haven't seen a house we paid for.

Yea they call alot, but i did stop answering the calls. also good idea is to turn off answering machine. when they get no answer they will move on eventually to someone who will answer, thats if you can stand the phone ringing

These people have called 3 times a day 6 days a week.  We've been telling them for 6 months there is no one here be the name "[***]".  I have now placed formal complaints to:

AT&T
and next step, Oklahoma State Attorney Generals Office of Consumers Affairs.

I received 2 phone calls yesterday, I did not answer any of these phone calls and when I called back to see who it was, a recorded machine picked up and I was on hold for 8 minutes and it also said that it was a collection company and trying to collect a debt. I have no debts...

Did not pick up but turned off my Cell phone.

called me and a machine left a message on my voicemail, it was a little hard to hear but I could tell it was a debt collector looking for Sakina James. I've been getting these calls for a long time and I don't know how to stop them because most of them are just stupid recordings. One time I called back and got a real person and told him they had the wrong number, but the calls keep coming from different places.

the other day I got a call and answered it, and no one was on the other end. for some reason that number isn't in my phone's call history now, but I remember it was an 800 number so it could've been the same one.

I am called on my cellphone every day. Sometimes in the afternoons and sometimes at 11pm.
They ALWAYS have thick Indian accents. Ive told them several times before to take my number off of their list because as a white male I can attest that I am not named "Alicia Sanchez".

They will always SAY they will take you're number out but will actually not. The first time I was told it would take 24 hours to take out when I had recieved a call the very next day from them. Then the next day was told 48 hours. Today I was called again and it woke me up. I called and asked right off the bat,
"How long does it take for a number to be removed from you're services when requested?"
he said " Forrrrr Tte eya owwuh" or 48 hours in broken english.
I told him they said that over a week ago. He asked me for my last name and the number again. I then told him I want to speak to a manager. He said ok but quickly tried to 'solve" the problem with me without one.

Next time I plan to represent myself as my own attorney and will be speaking to the higher ups if I can. If that does not work, Im going to be signing their number and e-mail up for every college in the country under the most common indian name available.

Out of my own meaness I might just start using an Indian accent when dealing them them. See if they would even notice.

Same here - But the last time - I heard them to say " Hmmmmmmmmmmm OK! and then a " cough" and then they hung up - only to call back 2 hours later.!!\\

Wow...I'm finding out about alot of numbers that call me during the day!
I didn't know others were having these calls as well. We get a msg on our machine several times a day and it's been going on for well over 3-4 mths, if not longer.
It's a robotic, Indian accent, which always draws out my husband's name over several seconds. We have never called it back or pressed 1 to acknowledge that this is he.
We too, have no debts. It is very frustrating that we get so many debt consolidation calls. Those should be banned.
I guess I'm going to scroll thru my ID list and find out what other bogus numbers it pulls up!

They told us that AT&T  had turned Me into them for unpaid amount of three hunred dollars owed on cell phone bill .

After getting off the phone with Bay Area Credit I called AT&T and talked to customer service and told them about this company calling saying that AT&T had turned me into them for unpaid amount on cell phone bill and AT&T said that they were affillated with Bay Area Credit Company. and that I did'nt owe AT&T anything.  

AT&T attempted to contact the company in question yet were not able to contact the company in question.  we belive after contacting AT&T that Bay Area Credit are Fraud's, Thieves, inturders, interloperes, and ragmuffins.

Received an amusing voicemail from this number:, "Unfortunately, your name and social security number is on a file at my desk. If you do not call me back, I am not at all sorry to say that you will be destroyed. We will download your home and work address and turn it into the proper legal authorities. This is an important legal matter. Call me now before it is too late."

My phone starting ringing at 8:00 am and these people call, never aswer if I do pick up the phone and never leave a message.  They will call all hours of the day and should be SHUT DOWN!!  Someone really needs to do something about them.  I don't even know who they are, except for what the other callers here say.  They have never left their name, which makes me suspicious to begin with.  They say here it is Bay Area Credit.

I just got my home phone 5 months ago when I moved. This company at 1-800-213-6459 has called everyday, including Sundays, since my phone was turned on. (I AM on the Do Not Call List.) I've yet to get a real person, everything is automated. I finally called my phone provider who told me about a feature they offer which lets you selectively block numbers that are calling. However, to include the feature on my phone service would double my phone bill. Only my mom and this company call my home number, everyone else calls my cell. Think I'll just drop my home service.
