I called this number back until I got an answer.  It was Washington Mutual.  I asked why they hung up on me when I answered the phone.  She did not know.  This call comes from the Philippines.  I demanded my number be removed from their damn list.

If they call you, you have to talk to an agent or all you get is info about the company. Wash Mutual purchased Providian. They are a credit card soliciting arm. I asked them to remove me and they kept asking for more info - I finally told them I was on a do not call registry - and they continued to ask for more information.

I am reporting them to the Feds and anyone else I can think of.

They call me on Saturdays!!! Are these people freakin' nuts? They're lucky they live thousands of miles away, cuz if they came knocking at my door on a Saturday morning asking me junk I'd punch them square in the face!

People and companies like this are disgusting!!

washington mutual is a bank. I am glad u guys posted the info because now I recognize the name. They keep sending me info about your preqlfd for a credit card which I dont want. will be calling to be removed from their mail and phone list
