rceived a call at 4:55 am from 8002183280, no message left, very disturbing
because it woke me and then couldn't get back to sleep.

I have also recieved calls from this number about 2-3 times a day and never recieve a message on my voicemail! It's irritating!

I also recieve phone calls from these people four and five times a day....

800.218.3280his is Gold Key Credit collections, which also go by the name of NCO. They are trying to collect a debt. Some have reported that even though they pay they're debt, they keep calling. Sometimes they actually make it hard for you to prove that you paid. They have a little game/scam in which they call as NCO claiming that Gold Key Credit passed the debt to them and now they are calling to collect it (even if you paid), playing it off as they are a separate companies. It's the same company. They are a real collections agency. The're simply no very helpful sometimes.

I keep receiving calls from 800-218-3280, always disturbing, very rude and never tell me what it is regarding.  They want me to confirm my address and name first and then, they say, they'll tell me why they call!!!  How can I stop it/report it, or else?  :(

call very harrassing want debt paid. constantly tell them they are looking for the wrong person  and how many people just in my state forget the whole country probaly has my name.  then they tell me to calm down i am sorry but i will not calm down when some silly company which is probaly a scam is trying to convince me i am someone else. By thinking i am going to give in when they say this could affect your credit report. yes my perfect credit report because i do not own a credit card and never had any outstanding debt.  they always call during tax return time every year. this number is even listed on many scam reports, has been reported to local news broadcasts and the number is listed as a top scam number people use.
i call them and other companies out on it all the time seems to help.

Received this call today and they won't tell me what is about until I give them my personal information that they should already have. Claim it's due to federal regulations..  I'm not giving it to them. Unfortunately I know what it sounds like when a debt collector calls and they don't need me to confirm that I am who they think I am they just start asking for money without threats.

scam artists that buy old credit loans and pretend that you owe them. they buy it or find it online and it is old credit history. dont even answer them i dont.

This company keeps calling my new number. I am not the person they are looking for. How do I get them to stop?!?!?!?!?!?! They woke me up super early this morning after being out super late last night.

Actually, that's not necessarily true.  I only owe student loans, which are up to date, yet I got a call from this group.  I refused to give them any personal information, then called both student loan companies who confirmed I was up to date and that they had not sent my accounts on to collections agencies.

Got the call.  They wanted to verify my address which I had no problem with.  Wanted my date of birth which I refused to give.  Then wanted the last 4 of my SS number.  I said no.  I said that since I didn't know who this was she should tell me first and then I would verify.  She said she couldn't due to federal regulations.  When I asked why not, she said she couldn't verify it was me.  Since she wouldn't tell me what it was in reference to, I said I guess we're done.  She then said she was going to write in the report that I refused to give info.  I then said you can't verify it's me so I will deny any issues with the report.  I never knew what it was in reference to and will continue to deny that we ever spoke.  THEY LOSE>

They called my cell # and asked to speak with my son. She asked me to take a msg I said I've got the # it's on my caller id. Told her don't hold your breathe my son won't b calling you back. I hung up.
