Unknown establishment continues to call my work phone number, everything is automated and not stating who they wish to speak with.

Really sick of these people burning my cell phone up.

This is MAF Collection Agency. You either owe someone money pay it and they will stop calling. Or if you don't call the number and asked to be removed. They are a very reputable collection agency and if they do have the wrong number they will remove. I received one call for someone else called back the number and told them to remove my number please and it stopped. It won't stop if you owe someone they are collecting for

It is NOT MAF Collection Agency. Their number is (800) 226-6188 or (813) 273-7811. I suspect Kiki might be working for the telemarketers and is trying to confuse us. That number is a telemarketing number and you should ignore it. End of story.

call the number Jeffrey  as I explained it is MAF collections I called them back and they have removed my number.  And no my dear I do not work nor have I ever worked or ever will work for a telemarketing company.  MAF does Medical bill collections.

Just received the same call as described above 1-800-226-7735 and I definitely do not owe anything. The call disconnected when I pressed option '2' indicating that I am not the party they are looking for. If it happens again they will definitely be reported as my # is on the govt do not call list. Thanks for the info KIKI...

MAF calling an unknown person from 800-226-7735. They've called a number of times. Finally chose option #9  - supposedly removes us from their calling list.

They kept calling even after I told them I owed no one any money. They insisted I did, then when I asked them to send me the proof, they then told me it was a relative of mine who owed the money and that if I didn't get them to pay their bill the calls would continue.
I understand they need to collect their money, but that's their job, not mine. Why keep harassing me for a debt that's someone else's?
Gave all the info to our lawyer, and he got them to stop.
Only took about 20 minutes with the lawyer, and the calls stopped in 5 days.
No more since then. I feel bad for those who can't afford a lawyer, but it's the only way to get this company to listen to what you're trying to tell them.

I have recieved 2 automated calls that simply state "You have been called by M A F, no further action is necessary", the line then goes dead.

I'm baffled. I don't owe any medical bills for such a collection agency to collect. My cell phone rang twice. They hung up before I could answer it. They left no voicemail.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is a telemarketer or scammers attempting to trick people into thinking they're in debt and giving out sensitive information.
