This number called my cell phone twice in a row.  I picked up the second time and nobody was there. Not even a recording.  I'm on the do not call list, so must be charity or election type call.  Have yet to identify.

Called this number back, and I was for Allied Van Lines.  I had submitted a quote online for moving services, and this was the callback.

First rule of moving: DO NOT submit inquiry online to anyone.  You will be called non-stop.  Other moving companies will find out you are moving and also call every day.  Soon you will wish you hadn't moved at all.  They are all friendly and nice until you say 'no thanks' and they hang up on your face.  You are better off moving the stuff yourself and paying people in the neighborhood to help.

They have called the cell phone twice so far today.  "Adam" from "North American Van Lines" left a message about following up on a quote request for a move.  He wants us to call him back at 866-851-6466. (We won't.)  
We have made no request and have no intention of moving.  If we ever do, we sure won't call North American Van Lines.

North American Van Lines - I submitted an online request for quote - they pass it off to local agents but the call center continues to bug me.

Ross) They say that its a moving company called Allied north America line they  got my # off a wed site that was given for an inquiry of  the cost of a van for moving. Now ever day I get a call from this # 800 228 7010 tell me to call 866 228 7010 ... I put a block on this # its not working the call still come thru.

I work at a car rental company and received the call at work. He then said something about  getting a quote for moving (he talked real fast). I told him that the company I work for does not have moving trucks. He then said something about doing in home estimates and said he was with Allied Moving. I told him he was calling a business and that I would not be moving anytime soon.

Yes , submitted quote to Allied Van lines yesterday and I get 4 calls starting 8am today. No message, if we pick up it gets cut

Allied Van Lines called to give me a free estimate.  Then they told me they don't have to service anyone who lives more than 15 miles from them, AND, their employee(Estimator), refused to come this far to give us an estimate.  So, they got told to go somewhere secluded and [***] themselves.  What a [***] joke.

I receive daily phone calls from this number. I found out it is Allied moving company. Somehow I have been put on a list because I have been receiving numerous phone calls and text messages from an auto transport company about a car I don't even own.

This number has called me five times a day, for no reason. It has harassed me in my classes. I am thoroughly  pissed with these people. This is  just disrespectful.

I asked for a quote to move from North American Van Lines and while I did get two via email, my phone started to ring from this number.  Finally answered it and the woman knew my name but seemed to be out of it and very tired to the point she didn't make a lot of sense.
I'm sympathetic to the people that make these calls but not sympathetic to the company that uses this tactics. No further calls since I answered

They keep calling me and finally had to return a call, then when they answered, I told them to stop calling this number

I repeatedly told this number to stop calling me, I don't need or want thier business.

I learned that out the hard way.  Got about 5 calls in an hours time.  Dont chase me.  I wont talk to you or do business with you like that.  And I am on the do not call list but it doesnt seem to help too much.  Had 3 moving companies call me over and over on the same day.  All 800 numbers.
