I received a call from this number, and it was the Citi® IdentityMonitor® service.

I received a call from this number.  The caller, Jessica, represented herself as a representative from ITAC Sentinel.  She said that e-mails that they had sent me were being rejected by the ISP.  My
e-mail address had changed recently, and the call seemed valid.  Jessica verified my identity by asking for the last four digits of my SSN.  All seemed legitimate, and there were items on file in my
account with ITAC Sentinel that needed to be updated.

I received a call from this number stating they were Citi Identity Monitor and a message was left to return the call and Provide the Reference Number left in the voice-mail due to activity on my credit report today that needs to be validated. I called back and keyed in the Reference Number. First time after selecting the # sign after entering the number I received an Automated "Thank You" and was disconnected. The second time I received dead air for 3 minutes and hung up.  

It made me nervous so I contacted Citi Identity monitor @ 1-866-279-9637. They stated to NEVER call that number back because it could not be verified as one of their numbers and was happy to hear that I did not provide any of my personal information. They stated that the only number that should be utilized for verification is 1-866-279-9637.

Got a call today, guy said he was with "Credit Monitoring" and wanted to confirm recent credit activities. I told him that I am a "Credit Alert" client and get automatically advised of ANY credit changes /inquiries. He then told me that he was "Credit Alert". He wanted to have my full address and I told him that if he was who he said he was he would already have that info.... There was a long silent moment on the line, I then told him to get my number off his list.
I bbelieve that this is a scam, as he was asking for info that (if he was Credit Alert) should have had.
