- kblingA "Dan" called to ask if the copier has a problem and asking what the model # is. So I go check it out and by the time I came back he hung up. He then calls in saying he is "John" from the warehouse, so I continue to question him asking what company he is with and he gets argumentative asking me that I should know this if I am the one who handles the copier equipment. So I keep asking him and eventually he just hang's up again.

- JohnnyThese guys are hilarious. Nothing heard of such stupid customer service. They yell at you if you don't respond fast enough to their spam questions. Wish someone would actually track them down and report to them the b.b.b
Pure [***] ! - joeA toner company called Preferred Office Systems gives it out, based in North Hollywood. California
- HoriHe said he was an executive at CBS with 100 employees.
He told me that he came to my restaurant (it is true I think, short bold person with a lady) and spent 24 dollars for two people.
Later he told me that when he arrived to his office, he found a cockroach in one of his bags????. I asked him if I could come and see it he was very upset, and started to make up stories.
He demanded 57 dollars.
When I started to question him, he started to threaten me with lawsuit and lawyer.
He said his name was Tom Johnson.
I feel so much better about this blog, I have been in business for 13 years and never had this happened before.
Have a great day.
PD I do have a letter A on my window
He provided me with an address that I will keep in my records (just in case somebody needs it one day) - Hotelgot a call from this number one day saying price in toner was going up and they had a box reserved at old price. Guy calls the next day saying he heard from the first guy that we were to get the toner at orig. price. I told him we were working on our phone lines and I needed his number to call back just in case I lost him. (I already knew it was a scam at this point) he recited this number after asking why and telling me he was too busy and got too many calls to this number. Then he actually asked for my manager by name and said to tell him he still owes him $20 from the super bowl. Found out from a coworker the guy called her asking for the managers name and my title... riiiight.

- A Concerned Chicago CitizenA Michael White from Service Distribution Systems called me on Wednesday. This company called us regarding our copy machine toner asaid that they supply our toner and the cost was going up from $500 to $600 dollars. At first I thought they where working with my copy machine company. Then on Thursday a lady calls me from this company and wanted my exact address. My office manager was in the office with me at that time and reminded me that we get our toner directly from our copy machine company. I told them that our toner comes through our copy machine company and to not send that order. When I told them to hold that order and don't send it, they hung up on me. I called my copy machine company and they said that is a SCAM and they make these random calls to clients. When I called this number back (323-335-7069) it just rang and then went to a busy signal. They also called me on a 1-800-235-1000 number, but when I called them nobody answered. They wanted to send me a toner cartridge through the mail and I assume charge my company, but I did not give them any information, but my address. I instructed my staff to not accept any toner packages or any thing that might be delivered by anybody that we did not order.

*SCAM* - ConcernedMike Austin from Ricoh. He asked if I was the person that made decisions about supplies. I said nope, they don't let me decide anything. He asked for a name of the person that could, I then asked what printer he was calling about.. he said the Ricoh printer. I said I needed to know the serial number off the unit that he was making the inquiry about and he said that he would have to go in the other room and pull the file. I asked him for his return number.. he was hesitant to give it to me... and gave me 800.235.1000. the incoming called displayed Anonymous. I told him that I would have someone call him back.
