The person on the phone asked if a ss number and birthdate were mine, they were not, and would not tell me the company she was calling for when I asked.

Caller stated the correct # & when asked who they want to speak to she said ("myname's" )_ neighbor.
Then the asked about names of my neighbors.She stated the correct name of my neighbor,then asked for her # we didnt have it... then she asked us to give her a refrence #.
I dont like people calling me to collect a debt from my neighbor.if in fact this it what this was.the caller was evasive & tricky.

They called me this morning, said they needed to find someone's parents and that I was put down as a reference number for them, it was really important they get ahold of her.  I remembered the parents from where I used to live, but realized, they moved out of our neighborhood before we moved to where we are now...out of state.  I called back and found out it's National Credit Recovery....now why on Earth would someone have that company calling me to get ahold of them because of an emergency?

This company calls friends, colleagues, and neighbors and passes on illegal information regarding debt collection.  THIS IS AGAINST THE LAW.

THEY do not leave a message as what call is regarding or company name they call all the time 8am till 9 pm it is very annoying they keep leaving messages with a reference number that includes my employers name please stop callig....

I received a call from 862 902 5110 for Esmeralda Rodriquez.  I am not Esmeralda Rodriguez.  A lady by the name of Gail Johnson left a message on my phone to call her on the above number.

So, maybe when I'm bored i'll block my phone number out & have a little fun with Miss Johnson. ;)

This lady called me at my work number (and I NEVER use my work number for credit applications) using my full name but with different SS (last 4) and date of birth. If you receive a call from them don't give them any personal information, seems fraudulent.

I got a call from a "Tom Bartlett" and said it was from "Pioneer Credit Collection Company" they are in the office until 9pm eastern time.  But naturally that's the only information they left.
