Received a call from 1-800-243-0002 in regards to a Illinois Case number.  Have no freakin' clue who these people are but they keep calling day after day.  Really getting tired of it.  One person called at 2:25 and then another person called at 2:26.

A person from telephone number 1-800-243-0002 called and left a message on our recorder saying that they are needing to talk with my husband regarding a "serious situation with his social security number".  She identified herself as "May", but did not identify the company she was calling from.

National Enterprise is a fraud company they used similar tactics calling and threatening everyone. PLEASE DO NOT CONFIRM OR PROVIDE ANY PERSONAL INFO. TO THEM and just make sure to tell them that you are reporting them to the police. And they also deny giving their address and only their fax number. Remember to spend as less time with them on the phone as possible. Also, if they keep insisting you paying or inquiring about your person info. ask them to send a letter to your mailing address and they SHOULD have your mailing address since they are calling you. DO NOT PROVIDE THEM YOUR ADDRESS, PHONE, OR ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO DO WITH YOU. And good luck folks!

These people are con artists. Whatever they threaten you with, however they try to bully you, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION. Give them the number to your local police department.

They called twice within 3 months, first asking for my sister, then for her husband, neither live here.  They were really rude, and were requesting information about them, at least a phone number, I refused. To me is a scam to get personal info, and steel your credit/money or your identity. Don't fall for it. after tha call for my sister, they never called back for her, until today, that they called for her husband!!!

they called today, saying there was an urgent matter, possible case against my ss#.. wtf..they had the last 4 of my social. in illinois, i've never been in illinois in my life..

My parents recieved a call from 1-800-243-0002 stating that they were a renter company with a case # regarding a lawsuit.  The caller identified herself as a lawyer, "May Martin"  Calling on behalf of a credit card co.  She had all my information, soc. sec #, banking #, account # for credit card.  Said someone would be stopping by my work to serve me with a subina to appear in court the following week if I did not agree to make a full payment over the phone today.  INSANE!  I don't want to be served at work, how terrifying.  What can I do?

I received a call from them looking for someone with the same last name as me but unrecognizable, to me, first name. I have no idea who the person is that they were lookin for. They said it was "regarding an Los Angeles Court matter". When I called them and confronted them about being on a watch list they hung up on me. I'm reporting them to the police today. Hi this person known as rebecca had been calling me stating that this is the number that I should call them back for something with a case in queens county.  I have no idea what is going on and they scared the soul out of me so she also demand that if i don't call by a certain time then a deputy officer after me.  So please can someone tell me what is going on?

I've gotten several calls from a woman named "Belinda" saying that she is trying to give me the heads up about something. She has called several times a day and said that it is urgent I contact her. How do I report them?

Don't know who these people are.  They called my work number asking for me or my husband (they used a name that is not his correct name.  A woman by the name of "Rebecca" called.  I don't know what they are calling about or who they are.

Received a call from Greg Jones 800-243-0002 ext.1491, please give him a call he starts out nice and then right into threats. This joker has the correct family wrong number and refused to accept that fact. Maybe I’ll call him several times a day to chat.

Received a call from May Marty with NES Ext 1400   I was suppose to give them a file number, number to call back was 1-800-243-0002.  Don't know who they are and don't owe anyone as pay cash for everything.

Someone from this number keeps calling my work phone.  It is ridiculous!!!  Saying it is urgent they speak with me.  I have no clue who they are but if they keep calling my job I will report them...

Same thing as everyone else--someone named Samantha Jennings has called saying something has come across her desk with my name on it and it requires immediate attention?! She called from a number that was "witheld", however, but still left the number at which to call her back and it was 8002430002.

Who are these people?

My father received a call from these people at his home-I don't even live there.  When I called back to speak to a Renee Clark at extensio 1405 she answered the phone with a "Hello"  like I was calling her at home.  She proceeded to tell me that a file came across her desk with my name on it and her office just had a meeting about me and if I would just give her my bank account info they could set up a payment plan and I wouldn't be sued.  I told her that I wasn't giving her any of my info and how did I know they were legit since I had never heard anything about any outstanding balance.  She put her supervisor on the phone and I explained to him that I wasn't giving my banking info over the phone.  He proceeded to tell me my address, ss# and where I worked and said that should prove they were legit.  I said any good identity theif would have that info.  He asked me why I was being beligerent and if I didn't give him the info they would sue me.  I told him to go ahead and sue me, when I got the court papers and saw this was legit I would pay it then-and then hung up on him.  I called my bank immediately and allerted my employer to the situation.  DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE BULLY YOU!!

Ok so I got a phone call from this number to. I knew I had an outstanding debt so I knew it was legit. I called back and got a courtney who told me if I didn't pay or make a commitment right then I would be summoned to court. My balance was 970.91 and she could only reduce it down to 728.18. I made a payment arrangment with her for 2 payments b/c I didn't want court. Today I went to the mailbox and there was a letter from NES stating that they could simply take a settlement for 485.46 and my account would be closed if I responded by June 10th. So I called today back to courtney who tried telling my it was from a previous collection agency and I let her know that it was on NES letterhead and I would fax it to her. She then became VERY aggravated and put me on hold. When she came back she told me that I had to let her know right then if I was making the 485.46 settlement. Of course I said YES! and she canceled my payment arrangments and was very short to get off the phone. Before making any commitment with them I would wait on the mail...In my case it paid off.

Called me and asked to speak to 'Maureen Wilshire'. Said she doesn't live here. Caller said I was lying and in breach of federal law. I told him he was in breach of federal law for calling me when I'm on the DNC list. He went quiet and called me an imbecile before hanging up.

How do I stop these?
