- MJWOODDid not receive a call, but this number appeared on my checking account as having received $4.50 by auto-debit. This has occurred twice now.
- justinif you did freecredit report online that is the charge for your report. I just did one and saw the charge and backtracked to that.
- AerodazedI too have been ripped off since the 1990's $1.50 a month then $2.50 a month and july 2010 it was $3.50 a month. They say they have been mailing me my benefit package for years the only problem is they have been sending it to an address that I have not lived at for 12 years. I never ordered this or got anything for all I paid. Or lets call it like it is I never got anything for all the money they stole. They said they would send me out a refund form, I filled it out in april sent it to them now they say they never got it back. What a bunch of BS. This time I am sending it return request let them sign for it. If that don't work I am handing it to my Senator friend see what he can do.
- AerodazedThe # 1-800-251-2311 Is The Affinion Group, it is a benefit package group. The main office is Affinion Group at 6 High Ridge Park, Stanford Ct. # 1-800-251-2148 or 1-203-956-1000 I filled out a refund request form to PO box 40606 Nashville Tenn. 37204 back in April 2011. Which they tell me they never received. So I am doing it again and I am sending a copy to the Ct. address with a return receipt to insure they get it this time.
- Betty I. Wagner| 1 replyThis # has been taking two charges out of my bank account at $6.95 each claiming to be fraud protection. After research, I find it is the same as the Affinion Group that is also charging my bank account $49.50 each month for so called insurance.............that is over $63.00 being taken without my authorization from my account each month, and then resulting in overdraft and additional $35 in insufficient funds for each.
I am 87 and on a very fixed income. Can anyone tell me who to contact to get this taken care of? Please email my daughter at yvettekilgore@gmail.com with the information. Thank you - Jim in Seattle replies to Betty I. WagnerThey mail you first, claiming to be Member Service Center and that they are watching your credit cards for fraud. The form included gives them your credit report (but you sign it thinking YOU will get it) The form letter merely has your name and address inside saying you ordered Fraud Protection Plus and that you need to fill out the form to be covered plus you get a "free" credit report.
The address inside says PO Box 121619 Nashville, TN 37212-1619 and the envelope included to send it to says Member Services PO Box 5600 Binghamton, NY 13902-9900 and yet again, the form inside says to mail it to Member Services PO Box 5554 Binghamton, NY 13902-9904
