A call received by my cell phone, and I don't randomly give out my cell number.

Got call as my refinance company.

This is Credit Plus. A lot of mortgage brokers use them for credit verification for a home mortgage. I took the persons name and hung up the first time because I was paranoid about giving my information out to them.

I called my loan officer and he confirmed they are genuine and I called them back. Ask them your lender name and full name of the loan officer to verify before you give out any information.

Received a voicemail from this company.  The person left her name, her extension number, the Press 2 if I am not available, the name of my lender, and the case file number.

I immediately called my lender who was going to check into this and get back to me.

Then I logged on and found this...still waiting to hear back from my lender before I call this company back.  Be safe.

I got a call from them and it was extremely suspicious there were two people and one lady said she had someone on the other line that wanted to talk with me about my recent mortgage and check the balance of my loan and the mortgage isn't even closed yet, then she said something to someone in the background and passed the phone to another lady, this lady immediately asked for my full social, they barley even knew what to say, and I just hung up don't do it they don't need to verify your credit, I'm at the point where my credit has been verified a lot of times and the closing is almost finished, these are some amateur scammers. If someone asks for your social 15 seconds into a phone call don't hesitate to hang up.

This is Credit Plus - I am a processor for a mortgage company and they are a credit report company. They are calling you to get updates for your credit.

This is in fact Credit Plus.

It happen to me today

I dont know these people had to inquire my credit three times in one month. I have no control seems to be.
